      The big problem is he’s one of the last footballers that peaked in the days when people judged talent with their eyes. Now the sports been taken over by stat obsessed idiots who view everything in the lense of “x scored more than y, therefor x is better”

      loving players like Eden is Double edged sword nowadays with modern football and all these stat padders i mean my favorite player is Mesut Ozil and watching Kevin De Bruyne definitively eclipse him is so heartbreaking

      I still don't know how tf Modric won world cup golden ball over hazard in 2018. I mean Croatia came a position above Belgium but still hazard was by far the best player in that tournament. And disrespect on his name and Neymar's name nowadays is crazzzzyyy

      Firstly, i think Hazard is 7th greatest PL player ever.
      When we say it was someone's league, it means they were in the top 2 attacking players in the league that season. At least.

      It WAS Hazards league but ONLY for 2 seasons.
      He was nowhere near
      Yaya and Suarez in 2014, he was maybe 5th, behind Aguero and Sturridge
      It was Hazards league in 2015
      It was Mahrez and Sanchez league in 2016 (Hazard chilled that year)
      Hazards league in 2017, fair enough.
      2018 it was KDB, Aguero and Salah were all ahead.
      2019 it was VVD, Aguero, Mane, Sterling who were all better. Man City and Liverpool got 98 and 97 points fam and won everything before them.
      KDB has been top 2 attacker in the league for 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. Only Henry has a better record in PL history.
      KDB is definitely "greater" than Hazard. It's not even a debate tbh. Talent wise, it is closer than you think even though i think Eden is more talented. KDB is a much better passer and shooter. Hazard is a much better dribbler and close control. I think KDB will retire as the PL 3rd greatest player behind Henry and CR7. Hazard has a better international career, but KDB has a better PL record and 10x the CL career.

      The disrespect Eden Hazard is getting is too much now . There’s a reason why Stamford Bridge was called the Garden of Eden ! That man had the whole league on lock . Hazard was HIM . De bruyne is him right now but for me , after what my eyes saw what Hazard did in the league. He’s the one . No doubt . Im a man United fan btw but even I have to acknowledge greatness when I see it

      Was it his league? Prime Sanchez, Prime aguero and Suarez carrying their teams aswell. I don’t think you can say Hazard ran the prem as the undisputed best in the league. Even at his best he had up and down seasons. That’s the only thing, I’d have an issue with. Everything else is true I don’t like this new thing of FORGET about their younger years, as long as they finish with off better. Like the modric Vs iniesta argument.

      Football is more than 11 a side.

      Hazard is incredible at football, the likes of Salah are incredible at 11 a side football.
      Hazard can do much more with a football, but nothing matters more than results in 11 a side. Salah is incredibly efficient

      The difference is dinho’s hit heights that hazard never did that’s why it’s okay he was done by 31, talk to me when hazard has a ballon d’or, World Cup and champions league (Real Madrid doesn’t count)

      Hazard is an all time great, but he is vastly overrated, acting like he is in the all time PL 11.
      Hazard, is worse then Salah, Hazard and Mane is more of a debate, but even then Mane is the better goalscorer but Hazard is the better playmaker. I think Hazard is overrated at this point, but i cannot deny that when he played at Chelsea, the PL was Hazard`s league, but still i do personally think that the likes of Salah and KDB atleast on a club level has achieved more then Hazard.

      KDB is the best PL midfielder of all time, and easily the best belgian PL player of all time.

      for me De Bruyne is a bit overrated maybe he doesn't have the dribbling like yaya toure , Silva, even Salah that's why I would choose Salah over De Bruyne but If you compare Hazard and De Bruyne in terms of Belgium performances you see that De Bruyne is kind of a system player , Hazard man STREET BALLER.

      People forget when hazard was in the Premier league he was different beast he is defo one of the best player in the pl because of the output him and Salah comparison is wild but for me best Belgian to play in pl is defo hazard and when he was in the Premier league this wasn't even a debate it is close now I admit and also when Belgium came 3rd in the world cup you knew who was the best player

      Where would you put Griezmann as a player in last 10 years feel like he’s another one that is criminally underrated I’ve watched Griezmann as an Atleti fan and you don’t truly understand how much he sacrifices by tracking back unlike these other attacking players I even watched his time at Barcelona and again he sacrificed his game to do watch Messi and Suarez wouldn’t

      Keep fighting the good fight Lyes. A lot of people are rewriting history and trying to tarnish his legacy and I'm not sure why, team rivalries I guess. He should be one of those players that are universally celebrated like Ronaldinho. Always a good attitude and the purest footballer we've seen in the league.

      You're absolutely right about Chelsea failing Hazard. We had good team and we won titles, but nothing like City and Liverpool of the last 5 years. I wanted to tear my hair out watching Azpi at LB, Matic at LCM and Costa up front and that was all Hazard had to work with on the left. Obviously all good players in their own right, but not on Hazard's level. Azpi at LB no overlaps or any attacking output. But Hazard was still dominating games. Nowadays wingers need service, if they get isolated they just don't contribute. Hazard was the service and the end-product, he was the metronome. He was everything. That's why even though he's my favorite player of all time I wasn't even that sad to see him leave because I thought at Madrid he'd get everything he didn't get at Chelsea and it still bothers me how it went…

      btw u brang up kaka neymar and ronaldinho. firstly they're brazilian, secondly kaka and ronaldinho are from different gens it was way different to this era, neymar did infintely more in his earlier years than hazard

      Henry was 33 in the MLS, not 31. Also in 08-09 he had declined, but was still CLEARLY world class. Put in a monster performance vs Real Madrid in what was essentially the title decider, but got injured that game and rushed back for the CL final while still unfit. After that he stopped caring, but was still a good enough player to contribute for a good European team. He came back to Arsenal at 35 ffs.
