Fiscally it was always going to be a difficult window, that’s because of the deals put in place by the previous ownership, blaming the current owners is missing the point. If we spend big in this window and don’t achieve promotion then that will damage us hugely down the line. There’s no value to be had in it.

I'm not worried at all ger about lack of signings. The best news of the window for me is Charlie Cresswell telling Farke he wants to stay. We're not selling him now. The team is good enough.

Roberts will give us that improvement we need and put us ahead of where we were a month ago, so that covers RB but are we going to have no injury problems at LB. Unlikely as Firpo is probably having his longest run since he signed, how long before he breaks down again. The other Lb who is actually a RB is injured every 3rd game. Its a gamble
