  1. Right now based on form we got a great look for a 4-2-3-1 formation!

Back 4- Dest and A-Rob as the Wingbacks but honestly might start Weah and place him on the side McKennie plays. But CBs gotta be Chris Richards and Ream; or Carter-Vickers & Miles Rob.

2 Pivots- McKennie & Johnny C. Both are defensively sound and have great passing and technical ability. Johnny is more of an Anchor that can also shut down an opposing 10, and make his way up in build up. Weston can play that deep lying Playmaker and be an effective attacking player in build up.

Attacking 3- Pulisic on the right, Taylor Booth on the left and Luca De La Torre in the 10 spot.

Striker- Pepi! Best form and best in class! I don’t like Balogun, over hype… too much like Jozy Altidore without the killer instinct in my opinion. All physical stat no sense for actually scoring goals.

GK- Turner is the best we got.

Subs- Sargent and booth can be interchanged or subbed in, and Gio can come in for de La torre if he’s getting jammed up. Musah can come in for McKennie if Johnny if more defense is needed. Ty Adams need to hunger healthy.

The back 4 are shakiest of the whole group… but Dest and Robinson or Dest and Weah! We got Wingbacks!

Our pivots are the strongest part of the team in my opinion. Reliable and Technical and hardworking. Plus they got that something special. Class! Can make any pass , great decisions, and are a threat when attacking .

Attacking 3- great looks! De La torre is great in distribution and possession; got reads of through balls and creativity. Consistent.
Pulisic is a true inverted Winger… can score and create from the side. Give him the side with McKennie and Weah or and that’s potent!
Booth needs to do his best Pulisic interpretation, but hover around the 18 and using penetrating runs to catch the eye of his pivots and playmakers! He’s great in transition!

Striker- Pepi can poach and Target… if he’s ineffective I’d put Brandon Vazquez over Balogun! Better Physicality and better natural striker, more of a 9

  2. IMO pepi needs a move. I understand he has been getting minutes but I dont think its enough for his development and the fact that he doesnt start when they play bottom of the table teams makes no sense to me (i understand he just came back from an injury)

  3. Two things:
    1) To be fair to Maloney, he's really a natural CB parading as a 6. He's not good on the ball for a midfielder, but not terrible for a CB. Also, he's doing a great job in the Bundesliga as a pure destroyer.
    2) I'm calling it now – if he stays healthy, Sargent is going to Copa America.

  4. Tactical manager. Of what? Your local McDonald’s, As you have a considerable knowledge of world cuisine, do you perhaps sell fast food franchise’s, when not pontificating on world wide cuisine. I guess it goes along with your vast knowledge of worldwide association football, or should I say soccer….It makes me sad that I cannot live in the land of the free. Yep! American soccer, and American food. Who could ask for more.

  5. I mostly watch the highlight packages with Pulisic and what stands out is how little he is shown. It’s not that he is missing opportunities or doing anything wrong, he just seems to not get on the ball much at all. Team works down the left side most of the time, and when they go right he’s more of a decoy to open up space for others. Maybe different for those who watch full games.

  6. Like to wait until august to replace berhalter with Jose. That way we will be playing at optimal level for WC. Then fire Jose after the inevitable third year implosion

  7. Pulisic has been invisible for over a month. We need a real RW. He’s been figured out by Italian defenders and in return he’s back to his Chelsea days. Can’t wait till Chucky to get back from AFCON.

  8. As for crystal palace just gave up in the second half. I wouldn’t blame this on Chris Richards. Some people will say it’s the referees fault for letting these Chelsea saw fouls go off side and the ref was not good 💰
