A strange one but I have convinced myself that Vlasic isn't a Moyes signing – i will be honest though – I am probably a bit fickle with Vlasic in the sense that when we win, I don't think about how he hasn't been given a chance but when we don't win and especially when the attack looks flat then I do wonder why he hasn't been given more of a chance!

I’m a GSB out person. However….. I don’t really buy the very very biased opinion that every transfer that works out for us is 💯 moyes decision and the ones that don’t are Sullivan’s. If vlasic had worked out everyone would’ve said “moyes has done it again”.
Plus…. Vlasic has got less game time since the Croatian manager came out and said vlasic needs more game time. Maybe vlasic n moyes have got into it and it’s pissed moyes off and now it’s 👋🏻 vlasic. 🤷🏼♂️. Everything is speculation
moyes takes an age to bed in players, vlasic has had less than 6 games worth of minutes in the premier league, would have like to see a lot more but he looks like a moyes signing to me – i think he fits tactically and will end up being a critical player for us, he has just lacked minutes

Chelsea's operating licence expires on 31st of May. if Chelsea not sold by then, it would automatically bar them from competing in next years premier league. They already cannot offer new contracts and its major revenue streams are frozen. So Chelsea players could possibly leave without a league to play in.
Personally i would not wish that on Chelsea and its supporters…..but if it happened we could sign Mount, Gallagher etc and chelsea slots for europe could go to other clubs.
What I have seen of him he can hold the ball up ok, n he has a good shot on him I say play him up top with Antonio n Bowen either side n Ur see the best of him
As always GEo Thanks With Sullivans negotiating and monetary teams getting too involved with the transfers I feel Moyes may well run out of patience soon. Hope not because he has performed ,,miracles over the last couple of seasons. For my team West Ham football club
I said he wasn’t good enough when you signed him and got a load of abuse from Zagreb fans. He’s not quick enough or physical enough for the PL, showed the same at Everton.
Vlasic said when he arrived that his spell at Everton didn't work because he was played on the wing and thats not his position. Its clear we didn't do our due diligence or know where to play him and Moyes doesn't trust him, especially defensively. The Croatian national manager Zlatko Dalic has publicly said the Vlasic will leave next season as Moyes's style doesn't suit him and he needs to play. Its an unhappy marriage and best for all parties if we move in in the summer. Wont take a massive loss because the payments to CSKA have stopped due to sanctions in Russia and we aren't paying in full for him.

Hi Geo, on another subject – have you heard that UEFA are quietly going ahead (and minimal coverage by the media that I can see) with changes to the Champions League from 2024/25 with increasing teams from 32 to 36 and introducing a “wild card” entry system based on clubs “historic performance” or “co-efficient” ratings in that League and approval expected in May – obviously favouring the bigger clubs e.g Man U/Arsenal/Spurs could enter even if they finish outside the top four etc. If your looking for more subject matter for your channel, you may wish to cover this in the future?
You convincing yourself it isn't a Moyes signing is simply your opinion, based on a supposition that no clever manager would choose a player only to leave him to rot on the bench!
However, Moyes DID WANT Vlasic.
For the love of God Geo, I wish you and most of the fanbase would give up on this blind faith in Moyes. The guy is never to blame for anything!!! The way everyone carries on, you'd think we were running away with the Premier league, semi finals of the Champions league, playing sexy football weekly….. Get real !!!
I cant really recall Vlasic ever really beating a man or having a longshot,when he does play he is generally invisible.
Benrahma has his flaws but has been much more effective.
Seems that Big Sam was right about Vlasic, not good enough!
Moyes signing or not, he is now a west ham player and should be given a fair chance as should some of our young guns, so much for

unless you're zouma, you don't get bought by Moyes and played that season more than a handful of times
I think you'll see Moyes change tact totally next season and Vlasic will be a big part of that

The other side of the coin in that if he did everything that say Bowen or Fornals does in training and when he got his chance, then he might play more
Vlasic has no impact whatsoever for West Ham… West Ham need to move him on elsewhere
I think Kral, Jesse, Vlasic, Soucek, coufal Dawson and all the other signings are made by Moyes. There is no doubt he has made those signings.
Vlasic was just beginning to find form when he failed to control a ball from Diop against Leeds and they scored. He was substituted immediately and looked knocked for six. Last time he got serious game time he was working hard and linking up well, but he needs to be stronger on the ball. Also he was stuck out on the left. I think he's more of a Fornals-type player who should play more inside or centrally.

Vlasic is a half decent player. Unfortunately Moyes does not respect players who CAN'T DO what Antonio, Fornals, Frederiks, Bowen & now Benrahma is doing. Run, run and run some more. Moyes doesn't seem to be concerned if they don't produce just as long as they run.
David Moyes is a man that is ice cold. He demands loyalty and professionalism from all but treats some like pieces on a chess board. Dirty man.
Is Moyes using players as part of his power politics.
Geo, I doubt we spent £50 million on those 2 players. Brentford was a Championship team for crying out loud. Benrahma was probably worth about £16 to £18 mil max.

I agree he's not a Moyes signing, I think the reason for lack of game time is because Moyes does not trust him hence the lack of game time. It does remind me a bit of Benrahmas' first season, hopefully a fully preseason and a tactical adjustment in where/ how he plays and he will come good.
Next season we need signings or we are more or less fucked. We can’t carry on with the depth we have. New LB, ST, Areola (permanent) and 1 more player. Vlasic may as well be sold tbh.

Its the exact same problem with Benny, Vlasic is not a winger but moyes has it in his head that he can morph players so he plays in out of position

I always thought that Moyes bought Vlasic to play him a Striker …. Thats only after i done my research meticulously and watched a highlights video of him on YouTube lol … He is meant to be very strong , heard Declan mention how strong he was and also heard him once say that we might have a Striker right under our noses . Dec seemed to think Vlasic could play uptop after spending months on the training ground with him. Not sure whats happened but he’s never been given a fair crack of the whip . I thought Moyes was trying to bring him on like he has Bowen , slowly, but it now seems he just doesn’t fancy him . Expect Said Benhrama to leave too …
Remember 9 months ago everyone was raving about Vlasic being the next top talent. Now we see the same thing with Danjuma. Why can't people be more humble, modest, and conservative about unproven Premier League players?
He's a good player, has been important for his Croatia national team and best player in the Russian league. The problem is that he was desperate to leave CSKA and West Ham were the only ones offering full price. I hope he transfers to a league that is better suited to his style of play. Nothing against him or West Ham but neither have time to waste on adaptation.
Meanwhile Vlasic is scoring for Torino….
