We've been in this situation quite a lot in the last decade. Irreplaceable players like David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, the list goes on.
All have gone and been replaced by players, we have then turned into superstars. I'm confident City will do the same for those who are currently playing.
I'd love to see Florian Wirtz in the CAM position and Kimmich as a CDM. Get them both for around 100m, We've literally won everything you can and should have some of that folding money to spare.
After David, Bernardo, we need to find another player with the surname of Silva! It's not only Bernardo's absence we will feel, but also KDB and Walker when they decide to move on, and I can't imagine life after Pep. From what I understand, KDB's response when he heard about Pep's extension… KDB said something on the lines of "well that's help me make up my mind".
It is Florian Wirtz ideal replacement, Pep might prefer Paquetá, why the hell u obsessed with money, this board had absolute stinker transfer window last summer they owe this team heavy investment, two midfielder kimmich and wirtz should be priority no matter money, those cheap garbage savio, olmo should never even be considered
If bErnardo leaves we should go for Kvaratskelia. He has astronomical potential.

Bernardo is so humble, yet amazing on the pitch. That back heel goal against Newcastle was spectacular. I will miss seeing him on the pitch. I think we should look for another Spanish style player to replace him.
I can give you one name that we already have in the team.. I think he has the coolest name: Oscar Bobb. He is small, quick feet, expert in small spaces, and he is the type of player that can give you the pre assist type of goal.
The only other club that really means anything to Bernardo is Benfica, his hometown club, and his first club , he seems to have a genuine affection for them ….. his wife is from Lisbon too …… he will stay at City for one more season, then, at almost 31 years of age, and to reward his loyalty to City, they will try to arrange a cut price transfer to Benfica for him.
Wirtz would be perfect. He can dribble in tight spaces, has all the capabilities to play out wide and has the passing range
No mention of João Neves? Definitely a worthy prospect to check out.

I think the only player on this top 5 list that excites me, is Wirtz. However, he may want to go to Bayern instead.
As for Bernardo, it will hurt when he finally leaves, but I'm yet to be convinced Barca are willing to pay his rumoured £50M buy out clause.

You are right about all the sister clubs, it makes perfect sense rather than attempting to get in players outside of our system! However, first I think we need to look within our youth teams and those who are in transition now! Oscar Bobb is just about fully accepted into the team now, I can only see improvement! Have we forgotten James Mc Atee? He is pure talent and on loan right now, we could pull him back! Micah Hamilton looks promising too! What do I know? It will make no difference!

Im in favour of young players coming into the first team from the academy when they are good enough for first team football at The Etihad Phil Foden is a prime example of that and we cannot be pesterexd by fair play prats
