All we need for ajax are players that know the game. Ajax will come back, but I dont think he knows how bad some of the players are right now, we are left with a legacy of the last technical director and it aint pretty.

How is he going to save Ajax's season? Are they really that low of a level now? He is a third-rate midfielder now who only gets picked for England because of his experience (nothing else). Ability-wise, he was a top player a few years back.

Tony Morley Aston Villa left winger and the man who gave the decisive assist to Peter White in Rotterdam against Bayern Munich joined The Hague FC in 1986… we were absolutely totally delighted too cause he just had it. We Dutch love English players and I praise Henderson for his choice he will be able to play football here, nobody gets worse here only better, we know we don't have a competitive league as in England Spain or Italy but… we are the current numbers 5 on the UEFA country list for a reason
Ajax needs a player with experience that can tell players which position to take during the match. There are no leaders in the team. My question to Liverpool fans is: Can Henderson do that?

I think on the long term an offensive, 10 till 15 goals per season in the competition scoring, midfielder, younger than 23, would have been a far better option, than a 33 1/2 year old, defensive midfielder, who only scores 2 goals in the competition in 34 matches, and who has a far too high salary!! This is panic football by the Ajax-management, very bad management!!

Henderson did his job good but the reason for Liverpool’s success is due to Alisson, VVD, Fabinho, Firmino, Mane and most importantly Salah. That’s the truth. It has nothing to do with Henderson 😂

Henderson is a top top player and athlete trust me I’m a Liverpool fan for years. I’ve seen all kinds of players at this club.
Henderson was crucial in the early title-run under Brendan Rodgers. We lost the league and it’s no surprise he was suspended for the last 3 games. He was crucial.
And then under Klopp. There’s a reason why Klopp made him the captain and also converted him to a number 6 – holding midfielder. You need to have some level of football IQ to be able to play that holding role for a big manager like Klopp.
