I don't think virgil will leave, he probably just wants to see who the club brings in as the next manager. Where can any of our players go that would be considered an upgrade in their career, even liverpool without klopp.
It would just taste so incredibly good to win the title this season. I mean this for me personally lol. I started following liverpool in 1990, just when they stopped winning stuff, and my brother started following Manu around the same time. I guess you see where this is going.. 30 years with some trophies vs my bro winning everything :). So it would be really nice to get a tie on pl wins with Many before the storm sets in next season.
I am not sure whether winning the league is a good or bad thing for our new manager, but for me personally it would be amazing!
Loved the Jurgen years, club has a good foundation, VVD will leave this or next year, or in 5 years, Salah will go. So? Mane left, Booby left, Hendo left, Steve G left, Suarez left…I've had fears over this before FSG and Klopp, but now I think they've build a solid foundation and player rotation, youth system etc. My only fear is someone coming and destroying that, not continuing the process. Currently Xabi or anyone else can't bring in the big names, but when was that the case with LFC. Would love to see Lijnders for a year, just for Jurgen to refill his mana poll, but I know I'm dreaming.

For now i just want to enjoy this season. Personally if we do win the quadruple i couldn't care less if we were crap for next season ill be boasting that quad for many years to come

the key incoming apart from the manager is the director of football. they must get that right. Someone of the same calibre as Michael Edwards allied with Alonso or Nagelsmann would be great. In terms of player exits: Salah will be sold for big $$$ at the end of the season; VVD will stay and will only go for big $$$; Thiago will go.
Im sorry but i watched numerous videos about Klopp leaving and despite the fact i loved what he did ,can’t help but have some concerns! First of all he was not a boyhood fan of Liverpool! He was brought in payed him millions make him a legend cause let’s face it Liverpool has that effect ! But him saying he doesnt have the energy anymore is bullshit! How the hell does he have the energy to finish the season but not the next one! I would prefer he left now! He will sit for a year and then what? Energy restored but for another club? What this shows is he simply wants out! The team is better than before all young and the club is on the top of the world! But he wants out cause yes he loved the club but not enough to stay ! And after a years break he would go to another club? The reason he said is well prepared but does not make sense! As for VVD he can go! No one is forcing players to stay! Liverpool will survive and even become better! We did it so many times before! My point is Klopp has done so much but bare in mind he was the right face at the time,yes he did a fantastic job but as it turn out he had a plan to leave for whatever reason! I think Alisson is no problem. He is a GK, he loves here. He can play even 5 more years if things go well. I don't think he has that star ego of Van Dijk, Trent and Mo.
I think Trent somehow gets a big contract and stays to be the main face of the club.
We can sell Mo or Virg. Not both. That would damage the fanbase a lot. Keep one of them at least one more year.
To decide which to sell, observe the market. See what top clubs are looking at the market and which one have higher value also considering which one would be eaiser to replace.
Come on, these are professional adults, they are here for football experience and also monetary compensation, stop making up stories like Klopp are their actual biological fathers. LFC will be fine with a new young and coming top manager, the squad is in good shape with huge potentials

Loving the new channel Laurence! I'm confident we can keep hold of Virgil, Trent and Alisson, but Salah is the one I'm worried about. The club may see this summer as the final opportunity to get big money for Mo.
Common sense would say let Salah go and make VVD highest paid player at the club. At least £350k.

People making a big deal out of every mundane comment. What are players supposed to say? They can't predict the future. New management could come in and sell off half the team, or they could come in and keep most. It's unknown.
He didn't say he wants out, I doubt any of the players want out, unless they were only there because of Klopp. Surely there are a couple who may fall in that category. Time will tell.

Honestly I think the team was built to comfort Van Dijk. There are so many dutch players who he cherishes and play with in the dutch squad. I am pretty sure he stays for another 3 years
