  1. Neto is world class. His two big injuries were his ACL and ankle – two different areas. He has also recently been out because of his hamstring. I think he has simply been unlucky, as none of the injuries he’s had have been reoccurring.

    He’d be an incredible signing

  2. The one position we still don't have a good enough start in is left wing (presuming Son plays in the 9 which I prefer). Neto completes a best 11 good enough to win the Prem, for me. Still very injury dependent but he is class and exactly what we're missing.

  3. Neto is decent but I'm still not convinced if he's a one-season wonder or not. Olise would be the best (he's injured a lot though), or even Mitoma, sadly he looks unreachable for us. Maybe even Diaby? He's unreachable too.

  4. Come on boys why would any player choose Barcelona ahead of Spurs ,,,,,,,,,,,,Barcelona has got massive issues not just on the pitch but they also remain very financially unstable………Spain have got the sunshine but good old Spurs has got the balance sheet…..

  5. I wouldn’t risk 80 million on a player who gets injured regularly. The Prem is a tough league. If you are going to spend that sort of money , we can do better.

  6. Spurs should offer for Neto on loan, with a clause where if he plays 30 games in his first season, there is an OBLIGATION to buy him for £65m. However, if he doesn’t reach 30 games (due to injuries), spurs have an OPTION to buy of £40m. I think both parties would agree, and we wouldn’t have to risk buying some with constant injuries, but if we find that he’s injury free, then we have a good player

  7. Sign both raph and neto. Only reason neto is potentially a more rewarding signing is because of his age.

Raphinha is absolutely what you want for the style ange wants to develop. He's been atrociously hamstrung by xavi's extreme and static positional football at barca. You only have to look at raph at his best at Leeds to know why he'll blow up at spurs with ange and be liberated to express his true form and abilities. If there's such a thing as a commander in attack, he is one of those type of players

  8. Americans haven’t got a clue when it comes to working with Brits, just because we speak the same language, that’s where our similarities in business stop. His staff turn in his dept. Is living proof of that, no naming rights, clearing out good people. Quite frankly he’s a disaster and you rightly say, Chelsea’s recruitment has been shocking, and that’s even understated. 100% Neto, but he’s a lightweight, like Maddison, prone to injury. We need backup, glad to see we’re getting there with bolstering the squad.
