It's incredible the amount of negativity currently going round about Sunderland, the management, the players (especially the so called lack of centre forwards) and the coaching staff. At the start of last season a mid table finish would have been applauded, but we over achieved reaching the play offs and now some supporters think we had an automatic right to get promoted. It doesn't work like that, it takes time to build a really good side. Also, we saw against Stoke that we set up slightly differently plus Jack Clarke putting in earlier crosses and passes along the edge of the box instead of always heading for the by line seemed to mystify their defenders. Let's have more positivity and get behind the players we have and those we get. Keep the Faith.

Not surprised w/Amad Diallo (as much as it'd be great to have him back), and I'd be very surprised if he does, and it seems strange you say he tweeted he might considering he's said he wouldn't come back if no Mowbray – maybe he's just having a laugh at the SAFC Ownership Sheet Show. Nobody with any talent would risk their career going to the SAFC Ownership Sheet Show, you have to remember that many players may only see 10 seasons, so who'd going to throw away a decent sized percentage of their career, and that's why Jack Clarke will be gone by Feb 2nd. When you have the opportunity, you need to be playing in an ambitious team with "experienced" players trying to win.

Amad Diallo has the makings of a top player. That boat sailed for Sunderland at the end of his loan last season.
It looks like you will keep hold of Clarke until the summer which should be looked upon as a bonus I suppose.
The fact that Leicester, Southampton and Leeds are the best three teams in the Championship after being relegated last season, actually says everything about the gulf in class between the EPL and EFL.
I have said it on here before that Sunderland need KLD and Sartori to put the club up for sale, and hope that someone with real financial clout and ambition takes over. The current custodians have neither.
