Miguel Almiron is the most likely Newcastle player to leave the club before the deadline amid interest from Saudi Arabia’s Al Shabab.

Newcastle have said this month they need to sell to buy players because of Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR) – and Almiron currently presents the most realistic chance of doing that.

Discussions are ongoing with Al Shabab and Saudi Arabian officials about a potential deal for the Paraguayan, who is happy at Newcastle and settled in the UK.

The club want to keep Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson amid interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid respectively.

  1. Could never generate enough revenue in Newcastle to overcome financial fair play, or ever come close to making a profit. Foolish investment by the Saudis. You can't live in the past, especially when money is involved.

  2. Bayern having financial problems? 😂😂😂😂 Bayern is one of the clubs in Europe with depth free and most stable clubs financially. There’s a members meeting every year that the club organizes and it came out we have no financial problems what’s so ever. Even with the Harry Kane transfer.

  3. I reckon other clubs have seen them struggling this season and think they have an opportunity to pluck away Newcastle’s players. To let Wilson or Trippier leave now would be a huge error in judgement?!

  4. Apparently, Arsenal are trying to sign Newcastle's head groundsman. The deal hinges on whether the Gunners will agree to pay the Groundsman's £475 per week wage demand and he also wants a new John Deere ride-on lawn mower………
