Probably for the best I am a fan and I think he was underrated bar the Stevanage game I don't think he did too much wrong. This means either a stay for Callum Chambers or an opportunity for big Tim Irogbunam imo.
To sell a player you need a club willing to buy him. If no other club wants to buy him then the only option is a loan and hope they buy him in the summer or he plays well enough so another club want to take him.
I think Morgan comes regardless of result. It’s too big an opportunity and he’s a Villa supporter or so I’ve told. Might be a shout that Chambers stays and we try to shift Traore. Possibly a cancelled loan for Zani? I think Morgan will play a little more regular than Dendo and offers a more skilful and physical profile in midfield too. He strikes me as being of real pedigree
I think this is great. Has done the occasional job for sure but mostly he's surplus to requirements. This gets us a bit of money and at least a bit if not all of his wages off the books. Its a loan because that's probably the best we can do. Your reservations make sense and are fair, but I definitely think its good business.
Good points made Sir Josh , I personally would have kept him , hate players like SJM and Dougie playing out of position, however I personally think Tim’s good enough for that role , young but good enough to cover, role on Friday , I think we will have a game on our hands and I shall be there !!! … UTV
Seems stupid to me tbh surely Donks is better than Chambers yet he's still here stealing a living. There has to be something lined up otherwise it's a bit rash but let's see what happens. I don't understand why we weren't in for Kalvin Phillips unless we were & he opted for West Ham & it kind of f'd us over, just a theory. Let's hope we get some players in otherwise it'll be a long rest of the season, squad needs reinforcements for the top 6 push. ✌🏼💜💙

Villa are useless in this transfer window in terms of incomings unfortunately and I don't see us signing a cdm quickly but I've got no issues with Tim Iroegbuham

From what ive seen it isnt a loan its a sale for 8.5mil so allt of mixed reports.

Dendoncker going without a replacement is insane considering the extra European games.

I'm very surprised Napoli went and got him. At least the loan pays his full salary (I assume). No one was going to buy him without a discount.
