They might be out of the Carabao Cup, but West Ham’s Premier League and Europa League seasons are starting to look quietly exciting. There’s a number of reasons for that, but chief amongst them is Mohammed Kudus, who’s making a claim to not only be the signing of the season, but West Ham’s most perfect one in years.

  1. Wbat people dont realize is he was a Defensive Midfielder… When he played for Ghana U17 he was a DM.

When he debuted for Ghana Senior Black Stars he was an 8. at Ajax started as a CM. Then eventually played false 9, and Att Mid. He's a Unicorn of a player.

  2. we are happy to see all the stats and the good job he is doing out there… but west ham and the technical team should not be selfish. they should share with the Ghana coach how to maximize KUDUD in the national team so that we can win the AFCON. which will inspire more Ghanaian football youths .. and also inspire them to sign for WEST HAM SUBSEQUENTLY. JUST A HUMBLE PLEA TO WEST HAM

  3. Eric Ten Hag saw him before going for Anthony. When Anthony failed he wanted Kudus unfortunately it was not to be. The guy performed really well in the last World Cup, so no surprise he is thriving, unlike Anthony always fighting himself on the field.

  4. He’s just getting better and better.
The great thing is that we’ve now got an attacking line of three really good players. You can’t mark Kudus out of the game without giving extra space to Bowen or Paquetá, who will also punish you if you give them space.

  5. after the disclaimer i couldnt watch without being fixated on the dubious stain: I probaly wouldnt have noticed if you hadn't drawn attention!

  6. I think treble is rather pushing it, but certainly double his WHU fee is likely. I'd like to see Liverpool bring him in as a Salah successor as based on those stats he'd be perfect.

  7. He wasn't good defensively both at Ajax and Ghana national assignments and boy has he adapted and improved upon his game! I don't expect him to be at West Ham for more than 2 seasons. A bigger club will come calling soon.

  8. I mean yeah hes really good but you anslysis if the stats is really poor. Go through his year on year xg abd the 200% increase in goals vs xg is jot sustainable. Last year he overperdormed by 10% and the year before that he underperformed his xg. Right now his sample size is way too low for you to he able to maie assertions like that
And then when lookong at the defensive stats you make mention of the fact that westham have some of the least posession in the league massively effects thats. If you play for a poession side which can have nealry double the ball of westham you naturally have half the chances to put up defensive numbers

  9. Whichever wally was doing co-commentary on the WH v Man U game called him Kudos every single time, even emphasising the "dos". Absolute imbecile.
