I name I have heard recently is a player named Promise David. Can you shed any light on who he is and his progress ? He was born in Brampton Ontario and to my knowledge is Canadian Men's National Team eligible. Also on a side note. I miss the concacaf council meetings you co hosted with 11 Yanks youtuber Pete Douthit. If Canada qualifies for the Copa America it would be great if the council could reform and go over the prospects of the concacaf nations participating in the tournament. One last thought. Any news on who might be our new Canadian Men's Nationa team head coach ? Thanks Josh and Alex for all the content you provide ! Cheers !
Grrat show guys
Great show guys!!!
Can you please advise if Canada Soccer is pursuing new potential star, Promise David?
Also, are they pushing to ensure that 15 year old phenom midfielder Grady McDonnell, who just signed a three-year professional contract with Vancouver Whitecaps, will play for Canada throughout his career at all levels, instead of the Republic of Ireland, where he has already played at 2 different age levels of their national teams?
Can you please also talk about 18:year old, 5'9" tall Lucas Oximac, who grew up in Oakville, Ontario & played with Canada's U-17 team & is a former Toronto FC academy graduate and promising striker, who just announced on January 21st, 2023, that he has signed a contract with Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia, currently holding the third position in the top-tier league.
Is he very much on Soccer Canada's radar for the foreseeable future?
Do you guys actually think this Camp Poutine has any chance of happening this year?
No chance of a camp poutine. Program has no money and not alot of ambition and no opponents for such a camp. Any Canuck playing at a decent level will be in pre season or getting ready for concacaf champions cup. And if your in europe unleas your really down the peckeing order your staying with your club. For the record i think we should have one every January and with a minimum of 2 opponents from our region and should mainly consist of cpl and mls players and those whose European clubs are either on break or they are far down the pecking order as mentioned before. Also id like to say i sincerely hope they get the best coach their money can buy and not some stupid hire for optics and inclusivity. This is becoming a problem in all forms of our government. We want to compete but mostly we all want to win. If you want your best to show up and be there best then build that environment. Leave politics out of it
