Like Grealish but it has to be Gordan, lad is electric, best player nearly every game, goals, assists, tackles. The only mark against him is he gets the crowd psyched up and is passionate as hell. Southgate won't have it, can't have that in big games, we need Rushford looking depressed.
Baffling that Cole Palmer is 'nailed on' to go when over half his Premier League goals this season are from Pens, and Gordon can't get in yet he's scored 7 from open play and has more assists 🤷♂
If Hendo's not going–and he's clearly fucked his last chance, now–then Grealish can't either. Without Jordan there and on the plane, no-one's looking after Jack's specific special needs.
Grealish I've noticed in recent training and games for England has become lazy, selfish and unproductively arrogant. Confidence and brio and wanting the ball is one thing, usually beneficial, but this is too far to a point it's detrimental. He's also starting a sort of clique/splinter group inside SGP, which is horrible for team cohesion and morale. Perhaps his City transfer fee, wages and the treble have gone to his head, and have started to infect the international squad.
Curtis Jones should absolutely go. He's been excellent for Liverpool, was absolutely immense at the u21 Euros (personally I thought he was England's best player). Barring Bellingham and Rice, who are untouchable, I'd argue he's been the next best English midfielder in 2023.
CB Konsa has to go to Euro on current form.
Gordon deserves to go but he won't get picked by Southgate.
Henderson will be there, stop kidding yourselves.

This shouldn't even be up for debate…Grealish has regressed this season, whereas Gordon has been clutch in big games… scored the winner v Arsenal and United, scored v Chelsea and City… golden ball in the Euros… but pretty sure Gareth will pick Hendo instead, especially since he's going back to Europe
Gordon would be a better player then Grealish in that City team. And hes on better form at a lesser team in Newcastle right now. Southgate would pick Grealish if he had two broken legs though 🤦♂️

Gareth will pick the most coward, conservative, limp group of players to play the most boring football possible, and the English fans will lap it up as long as he gets them to a semis. This group of english players has the potential to play great attacking football an win the whole thing, but not with this manager

I'm a Newcastle fan and i have to admit, before Gordon come to Newcastle i hated him. His face alone seemed to piss me off, but hes been absolutely amazing this season. He reminds me of Craig Bellamy when he played for us, and i even think hes got the potential to be much better than Bellamy.
