Why do we always look at a 2nd striker coming into the club as a “backup”? At one time we had Rooney, Berbatov, RVP, and Chicharito all as strikers. We play 2 games a week from Aug to May, we need 2 strikers at least that can handle the spotlight. City have Alvarez and Haaland, they don’t miss a beat when they swap out. We need depth, and with squad rotation there’s no such thing as “back up” aside from keepers. With that being said, would love to get Sesko he would be an incredible option with Hojlund.

That head physio, who somehow said Martinez was ok to start the season and hasn’t played since due to a recurrence of his injury from last year, deserves the boot
lol nothing has changed, United are being lazy and continuing to buy oldies.
There is a market out there to shop especially South America where players fight for moves like this. A full month and they are going to waste over £20m on another injury prone player rarely scores more than 8 goals.
Infact since joining Newcastle his best season was his first and third seasons. (12) goals in his debut season, second season (8) goals, third season (18) goals, and this season (7).
Prior to joining Newcastle he was pulling out goals between (5) & (8) goals per season and one good season of (14) goals at Bournemouth.
Callum Wilson ain't much of a goal threat in fact, he's a bang average or less striker, he's 31 years old and even in his youth he was hitting over 20 per season that's not good at all. How this fella got a move to Newcastle is beyond me and being tauted to join United is a fucking joke.
