Rice/Partey/Ødegaard- – absolute no-brainer with ESR & Jorginho as alternatives depending on the quality of the opposition.

On the atmosphere, I personally think there has been a heavier rotation to tickets from season tickets holders to other fans this season (for whatever reason). There is no hierarchy of supporters, but it’s a fact that the atmosphere does change when this happens. I’ve noticed that people tend to leave earlier as well.
Completely separately, the seats in the boxes are often half full. Some boxes even completely empty. I appreciate that the investment in boxes tends to be ‘corporate’ and different to regular seats, but I still do not think it’s acceptable and would like to see the club put more pressure on owners of boxes to ensure their allocations are taken.
The ticket ballot is having an effect on atmosphere. I’ve been to at least a game a season for 25 years. Now I can’t even get a ticket tried many ballots and never been successful, red member for 10 years . Absolute disgrace now

regarding Arsenals aging midfield, I don’t want to see us go and splash massive cash for multiple replacements to elneny jorginho or even partey. If all 3 leave within a year I want to see maybe a big big for frenkie de jong and have Patino come back and get a chance at properly being involved with the first team. Always liked him and he seems to have bulked up and got a decent left foot on him. what do you think?

Arsenal have 10 midfielders on the books charles. Partey, Jorginho, Eleny, Rice, Havertz, Odergard, viera, smith rowe, sambi, Patino. We can hold on to partey and Joginho for next season and watch how Patino and Sambi develops before splashing cash.

I disagree Charles about your first part of the view on the atmosphere in the view of the last season as we were all ready to follow on from that momentum this year. But in order to do that you need a constant sound and thats not there as like you say down to the club slashing Ashburton Army’s amount in the same section – this is the main factor
First game against Forest atmosphere was flat – last season it felt like that stadium had its pulse and was breathing n AA was its lungs
Its blatantly cutting the Ashburton Army which is the main cause
When Saliba scored an own goal against Leicester last season it was them who got the stadium buzzing n cheering for him n we go n score straight away
Compare that to Jorginho’s error against the spuds this season n it sapped the energy right after we scored for them to do respond right away – the AA tried to get the crowd up but their low numbers meant it didn’t have the same impact
And fans leaving early they should have to scan out to show they persistent at it – its utter disrespect to leave, they deserve being applauded for their efforts at the end
These fans will be the same who whinge n get on their back when losing
I travel from Leeds to home games and stay til the end and still manage to reach the tube n train in good time – leaving earlier should have a minus points which cuts games imo
All things the club can rectify and subtle differences which get us over the line
The negativity surrounding Timber is appalling from you, Charles. The fact that Timber is almost back to full training is really good. Timber is one of the few individuals that can be seen as a mentality monster. He will play a crucial role in our title charge this season.
I want our Arteta back just watched Bench Cam for the CP match and it was sad to see him not jumping about encouraging our boys 😢

Hi Charles, I am currently on holiday in Antigua and bought your book online for some holiday reading. It is currently day 3 and I have already finished the book! Revolution was a great read and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who follows these videos. Having watched your videos almost daily since the dark days of Arsenal playing a defence of Mustafi, Sokratis and Luiz, I loved how the book looked back on the last four years at Arsenal as it really put into perspective how far the club has come since Arteta first took over. I had one question (sorry if this message is a little bit long) but who would you say is the most important signing of the Arteta era? For me, although Odegaard could be an obvious pick, Gabriel has been immense since his arrival and I feel that he is incredibly underrated by Arsenal fans and football fans in general because of how good Saliba is next to him. What do you think?

Hi Charles! Extra/time question to consider. I share your opinion on Arteta playing time for squad players and in-game player management. my question to you and Benge is if we have our full squad fit what will be your starting X1 against both top6 and low block team also how will you manage playing time to get the squad more involved. I can see Pep&Klop managing the squad better than Arteta in my opinion Arteta has to vastly improve playing time for the squad players if we think of having players challenging our starting X1?
