Malaysia defense very weak
Indonesia has 9 players u23 and Iraq has 7 players u23 it was amazing game from Iraq I expected more from Zidane Iqpal but he still need more time to gain more harmony with the team. I wanted to see Ali Alhamadi amazing striker who got many offers from English premiere and championship leagues but Jesus Casas did not use him along with Danilo Al Saed and the youngest player in the tournament Muntadher Madjed who was chosen to be one of the top 50 telents in the world and chose to represent Iraq instead of Sweden recently. Maybe the coach is hiding them for Japan epic!!
The bribed Chinese referee was handing out yellow cards to the Koreans like Santa handing out presents. They had to take out Kim Min Jae and they went lighter due to how biased the referee was with that Arab oil money in his pocket.
Fun fact: a Chinese peer of the referee went to jail for match fixing. Fyi. Seems like they want to take out half the Korean team by the time they face Iraq / Iran /Qatar.

Iraq was just more discipline last night. Indonesia literally playing with mostly U-23 players. This team still so young, still a lot to improve. Potential is there. You can see this team just too inexperienced. Too many silly unnecessary mistakes.
It's not Malaysia that got reality checked, but the coach Kim Pan Gon. Going for risky formation and gameplay instead of regular tactics that works for them this entire time.
I think he's trying to go big with attacking but neglecting the fact that defensively they are terrible.
Malaysia has everything.. a lot of foreign born and naturalized players.. cheap arrogant coach.. everything.
There was only one thing they could not do this time, that is they couldn't buy referees in this tournament.

Everything Lee Kang In does remind me of Messi. That Lee Kang In first goal was like frame to frame of Messi's goal against Australia in the World Cup. Him standing with the ball before dribbling past and melting 5 Bahraini defenders was like when Messi just looked at 5 Ateletico Madrid defenders running at him and he just jig jag past all of them. Lee Kang In won the FIFA U-20 Golden Boot like Messi did. And Lee Kang In is product of Spanish youth system like Messi. I'm telling you, he is obviously not as good as Messi yet, but if there is ever any next Messi, this kid just very well be that. His ability to dribble and dead accurate passes with his left… This makes you miss Messi but also gives hope there's another one in making. Just hope PSG starts using him in his correct position. Or maybe PSG playing him on the RW will make him a true multirole. Just two years ago, he was criticized for being good at offense but 0 contribution to defense. Kid took that criticism and made himself a decent defense contributor. A kid with star quality that is also humble enough to take the criticism and improve himself. This kid is something.
Ali Adnan and Bashar Rasen were the worst for Iraq, I don't know why they stil get call up for the squad. Ali adnan was very good for Iraq but after one year injury I don't think he should start for Iraq but Bashar has always ben Bad for Iraq hr id worst

Malaysia was definitely overhyped coming into this tournament..beating low quality teams at the friendly matches..it takes time to build the team..let's be patient!
