England international Conor Coady has signed for Everton from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan.

The 29-year-old defender, who will wear the number 30 shirt for the Blues, is the Club’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window after the arrivals of fellow centre-back James Tarkowski, former Wolves teammate Rúben Vinagre and forward Dwight McNeil.

Born in Merseyside, Coady captained Wolves for the past four seasons and was a hugely influential figure both on and off the pitch for the West Midlands club.

Brought to Molineux in 2015 by Everton Director of Football Kevin Thelwell, when he was Wolves’ Sporting Director, Coady has 10 England caps and is in contention for a World Cup spot in Qatar this winter.

  1. Good bit of business with coady and Onana signing, we should get gueye and then a world class forward/striker. E.g Broja, Fekir, Szoboslai

  2. coming from a wolves fan this lad will take you guys far he's a leader and his dressing room presence is nothing but good vibes. Love ya coads hope you get a better chance at england.

  3. Arsenal supporter but I absolutely adore Conor, honest and hardworking lad, real leader, sad how things went with Wolves but things change with time
It’s an immense signing for Everton and good for Conor’s progress

  4. This is a very deep situation these days is not normal to see such a thing but we wolves fans love coady far too much to show anything else than love and good vibes to him he is special 🧡

  5. I just wish he would be honest with us!!!!
What a great, enthusiastic & heartfelt interview. Can't wait to see him in a blue (or pink) shirt! It doesn't seem like he'll need motivating much, it looks like he wants to get on the pitch RIGHT NOW! Just the right sort of character we need… A natural leader. I'm not sure I'd want to be a striker playing against him and Tarky!

  6. Was a bit skeptical because he’s a red but I think he gets what we’re about and respects our history. Good attitude and I’m happy to have him. Hope he proves to be a great signing

  7. Its worrying for Everton he doesn't mention winning or the word win win once. Keeps banging on about helping people. Help them win that will help.
