I discuss the latest Arsenal news, giving my views on the injury sustained by Gabriel Jesus which has seen him ruled out for the rest of the World Cup. I discuss the squad that Mikel Arteta has taken with him for Arsenal’s warm weather training camp in Dubai, including the return of Emile Smith Rowe. I also discuss Bukayo Saka ahead of England’s game with Senegal at the World Cup.

  1. Let Alison Beaker Pray on his knees . I hope he get well soon … We will pray from where ever we are cuz it's a massive drop for Arsenal team performance if he not up in the front

  2. Hey Charles, thanks for the update. Sad news about Gabby J, hopefully it the news comes back better than first feared. You can always trust some fans to go meltdown mode, especially after the Watford result match report 🙄 On a rather positive note, I'm beyond delighted that ESR is coming back, unlike most, I actually that he'll feel like a new signing no doubt, hopefully he's able to hut the ground running like he did last season. Aside Gabby J's injury and Ben White' situation, I just hope we do not get anymore bad news on the plating squad. You have no idea how many people have sharpened their pitch forks and are desperately waiting for more Arsenal players to pick up injuries. God abeg 🙏 😢

  3. I spent all world cup hoping our players didnt play. This is exactly why.

With ESR back maybe Martinelli can cover up front with Eddie. Not the end of the world but could be better too.

  4. Players get injured so much for overload and overuse but Arsenal will still play 3 meaningless friendlies-Dubai cup. You get what you want bruv :/ rest the players so they can be fresh for the remainder of the season but hey , Dubai cup babyy… I don't like this things from Arteta… Not world class for me because of these things
Btw 50 mil for jan transfer is not fair to Arteta tbh ☹️😥

  5. The one season we look like we can do something and we get a first of its kind world cup half way through the season. Could not make this bs up.

  6. Surely, arsenal can attract an Oliver Giroud type striker for 6 months someone who can offer something different to Jesus and Eddie but also chip in with 5 or 6 goals in the 2nd half of the season (not Ronaldo)

  7. I think we need another striker anyway tbh. Whether an experienced back up or another youngster who’s different to Eddie…. Or another winger and play Martinelli up top

  8. If you are saying that arsenal not gonna panic to replace Jesus because he might come back in February. So the reality is that if we fail to stay top until he comes back forget that this chance of winning the league will never come back anymore. It might took another 10 years or 30 years for next generation not in our time which we want in our time to see and witness such best memory. But we failed by such people not spending. Instead to leave our team

  9. I concur with some of the wise heads in the comments. Get Mudryk in January, play him on the left and start Martinelli in the centre!! There's no need to get another striker, which is unlikely anyway.

  10. we need another striker anyway Charles. You make it seem like we'd have a problem when Jesus becomes fit if we sign a new striker in Jan. Not a real issue, unless you care about a bang average Eddie getting pushed to 3rd choice. I'd sign mudryk as it seems we're on course to and play Martinelli up the middle, letting mudryk play on the left in the front 3. I'm def not starting Eddie. We're absolutely fucked if we have eddie leading the line.

  11. People forget Jesus has not scored for 2 Months, his last goal was against Spurs, we have missed many chances against: PSV, Zurich, Saints, Chelsea, Leeds, Wolves, even Man U away. We are not missing a goal scorer cause he has not been that for months. we are missing a 100% worker, assist maker. I hope and pray that Jesus is back very soon. but would Eddie have scored some of these chances? He scored some big goals last season. IF we can sign Mudryk he can play off the wings or upfront, Gabbi11 can play upfront, and what a bonus having ESR back. Jesus is a Great player but at the last home game against Zurich, people were praying that Jesus scored for Brazil, as they saw how his misses were affecting him and putting us under massive pressure. Just look at the Forest game, would Eddie have missed these 2 sitters?

  12. Terrible news regarding Jesus. I've noticed down in the comments that some folk don't consider this a loss because he hasn't been scoring. Not entirely sure what planet these commenters are on, seeing as Jesus is so much more than a conventional #9. It's not about the goals – it's about what he contributes, which is a huge amount.

So what choices does that leave? Eddie, of course, is one. This could be the making of him. We know he has the potential and when Arsenal relied on him at the end of last season, he did deliver. And maybe that's the thing. When he's starting with an otherwise 1st XI he will have his greatest opportunities, rather than 15 minutes when the team is managing a game after taking the lead. Look what happened when Reiss Nelson had his opportunity against Forest. Otherwise, could it be Martinelli through the middle with ESR on the left? What options will our January signings make? Can Balogun be recalled?

  13. If we dont stengthen in the areas we all know we need it then arsenal dont even deserve champs leage due to stupidity and ignorance as well as dismissing the fans and not doing the the obvious to get over the line like in all previous seasons

  14. Please not be as serious man 😭 what a shame that would be. We were just on to something pretty remarkable. Regardless , I hope Arsenal will be busy and January and Eddie is ready

  15. Exactly why I wasn’t personally happy that any of our players were called up, worst is he’s a not even a first team player. Taken out in an insignificant game.

This is a major blow for us because, our revolution in play is based around Jesus, so unless we go out and find someone who can do what he does, then our title bid is truly effed, if it’s not already.
