Yes at united the problems come from upstairs, the wrong prong people making football decisions, like who the manager should be, Jose was never going to be right for United, Ole was supposed to be only temp, but because he went very basic, using fast wingers to counter, it worked for a few weeks, until teams worked out that is all he could do and ETH has never made a team, does not actually have a way of playing and was certainly not why Ajax was doing well, he is a manager that should be brought in to maintain a system already set up, which Ajax had, United did not, the only manager brought in that was in the right mould was Van Gaal, but he was close to retirement and shafted by those above bringing in just attacking players, leaving him with Jones and Smalling, he had to change his tactics after the Leicester 5-3 defeat, where our good attacking start was halted by the awful defence and now the attack was stopped, players like Di Maria looked poor, because we could no longer go forwards without fear, no DOF after Fergie and Gill left was a major mistake from Woodward., Go back in time put a top DOF in place and the club would look so much better now.
