I think against Liverpool for me it was gorginho that made the difference in that game. He helped the midfield be more solid and he gets in the right positions. He also has a good pass… thats not me saying Havertz wasent a improvement up top. Just I'd like to see us play a stronger midfield more. Then when Party's back we just up grade on Gorginho straight swap.
Spurs sold Kane that's probably why they can spend and we can't.

Tom I believe richkanu was right in his question about the HG rule but that applies only in UEFA comps. You were correct too that in PL only 17 out of 25 max senior squad players are allowed to be non-HG. In UCL, this rule is further specified: of all players qualified as HG, only 4 can be association-trained (eg Toney), otherwise they should be club-trained (eg Nketiah). If this quota is exceeded, then the rest will be counted as non-HG and consequently contributing towards the 17 (max) non-HG players quota. As of now we have 4 association-trained players (Ramsdale, White, Raya, Rice) therefore fulfilling our quota. Great show as always Tom UTA🙌

Tom, been a while but I've been listening to the shows. Yesterday's show was a welcomed change based on the context you gave and facts you presented on the money spent over the years by Arteta. You demonstrated that anyone can "bump their gum" and say anything. But when examined against the facts and with added context (we had to basically change an entire squad to go against Man City who started with much much better players). You informed a lot of folks, those who choose to be informed! Fantastic take on the show yesterday. Nice show today too.

Spurs have higher revenue than us as Daniel levy has made their stadium a cash cow with concerts, fine dining and other events which gets the big bucks in but still don’t reinvest to make their squad great = spursy ending. 😂
