Mehdi Taremi is the best player for Team Melli and should not be excluded from next match with Lebanon and Syria

I can't agree with you here. You don't seem to know the full picture. After the tweet, Skocic tried in multiple venues to reach put to Taremi to resolve any issue there is, but Taremi refused. After Skocic tried to contact Taremi to no avail, he asked Hashemian to reach out. But Taremi didn't answer. Then they asked Bagheri to contact him. But he ignored all of them.
What do you do in that situation? He clearly is creating an atmosphere of toxic behavior and disrespect for the head coach and other coaches for that matter.
I think Skocic did the right thing and I think he did so after discussing with his team of Coaches including Iranian coaches like Hashemian and Bagheri.
Before I watch, I’m already predicting that this comment section is gonna be flooded with persians who live abroad and assume they know about Iranian football bc they follow 1 or 2 instagram pages. I am predicting that there will be comments such as the following: “omg😩😩 Taremi omggggg why would Skocic drop him omgggggggggg”. Mehdi man was disrespectful and unprofessional. Quieroz did the same thing in the past to players who were being disobedient. This can provide our other strikers with a chance to show their worth. Believe it or not, Taremi deserved to be left out 0.o

I have to say that I respectfully think the opposite of what you said about Skocic not inviting Taremi for the next two very important games.
Believe it or not, right after Taremi's reply on his twitter, I personally sent a message to Skocic asking him to take strict measures against Taremi so that he realizes that he was in no position to answer back to his head coach regardless of how good and talented he is.
Now, I am not suggesting that Skocic made his decision based on my message as I do not even think that he even read it. But regardless, I am personally satisfied with his decision as had he invited Taremi, he would have lost the control of the dressing room.
The hope is that our team will earn the maximum points from these two games so that 1, we will get closer to qualify for the finals, and 2, Taremi will learn that despite being the most valuable player, the national team can still win without him so that next time he gets invited, he will be less emotional and more professional.

Taremi is a great player and I love him ,but i disagree with your opinion on the matter. Clearly you are letting your feelings about Skocic get in the way. Taremi was disrespectful towards Skocic who thinks very highly of him and praised him on many occasions. It was really stupid , unprofessional and unnecessary. I do hope he will learn from this, though I doubt it ,he has a very big ego. Best of luck to team melli in their coming matches.
Nice Job Art. It will be interesting to see how Skocic address this issue during his pregame conference. If Mehdi is not responsive to coaches then he is sending a signal that he is not willing to resolve the issue. I am just hoping that Mehdi is not the one that does not want to be on the team. Similarly to Vahid Hashemian decision few year back. Either way as you mentioned a distraction and possibly damaging if we don’t get the results in the next two games.

With all the drama and distraction happening , thats the first thing i think iran will not win the game. Taremi is a key component for the attack and will be a big miss. Its gonna end in a tough draw 1-1 . A 2 points loss for Iran and Lebanom edging closer to playoffs
It‘s not a big deal, we are going to win the next two games even without Mehdi Taremi. I‘m sure they will sort things out and we will have one of our best players back by the next camp. Skocic did the right thing and sent the right message. The Team is above any player!

Guys the Skocic might have got good results until now but there have been some shaky matches. For example against Korea and UAE. I think he made a big mistake not inviting Taremi (Arguably our best player). I home Sayyadmanesh can step up because the next 2 games are not going to be easy.

Team Melli coach is stupid to let his personal issues influence his players selection. The coach winning record is due to Taremi's effectiveness in Team Melli. Those who think without Taremi Team Melli can score goals, they either stupid or enemies of Team Melli.
You have no idea WTF you’re talking about. Taremi has shown to be at times extremely selfish and undisciplined. He has a poor record of discipline as a forward in Porto and despite his talent, he does not always play in the most advantageous manner as a team player. Unnecessary red cards and a penchant for “me first” play takes away from his overall effectiveness.
Moreover, Skocic had reached out multiple times personally and through others like assistant coach Vahid Hashemian and legendary Karim Bagheri to iron out differences with Taremi, who in his characteristic narcissism shunned everyone and did not return any calls or messages from the coaching staff.
Last, your opinion that Skocic should not be the manager is not worth a dime. He’s done nothing but win since he’s taken over. He’s not egotistic and has overachieved given his relative novelty as the manager of a national team. Look up the scoreboard before you run your opinion. Skocic is UNDEFEATED as Iran’s manager since taking over a team that was in danger of not even making it past the second round of AFC WC Qualifications.
I think there was some miscommunication and misunderstanding between the two. I hope they resolve it and not their egos get in the way.
On another note, I believe that Skocic wants to build his own version of a more modified attacking team; which I believe provides a great chance for Sayyadmanesh, Ghayedi, Rezaei, Gholizadeh & Ghoddos to be tested.
If a player gets out of line they need to be disciplined (no matter who they are), otherwise the team atmosphere will be destroyed. This was a good decision in the long run. “Bazikon salari” destroys teams. Good on Skocic for acting right away.
So going back to almost 8 years ago, when Queiroz did not call Mehdi Rahmati and Hadi Aghili. Did you at the time believe that Queiroz did not deserve to coach Iran for that? If not, what is the difference from your point of view?

I think you absolutely right he should not let to lead Iranian national team, he is dividing team, he should not commented. Hey buddy, you can't even pronounce the names of the team melli players (it's not Sorush Rafieh, it's Rafiyi)!!! Moreover, Skocic, Hashemian and Bagheri called Taremi several times each, but he blew them all off, thinking facing public pressure, they cave in… and they did not. Good decision, no player is above team melli!
I was very disappointed not to see Taremi continue his spectacular form. But, no one player is above a team. So, he should have kept his mouth shut. And the coach should have seeked him out and asked him about his opinion sharing ob the social media. Not sure if that took place or not! But it has to be resolved soon as we need Taremi and he needs Team Melli and the WC exposure.
