Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he has held talks with Conor Gallagher over his future at the club.
Gallagher has been linked with a £40m move away from Stamford Bridge despite being a key player in the Blues midfield.

Gallagher will flourish in the "Mikel" role at Chelsea: win the ball back and pass nothing more or extra, stay at the midfeild let the other 2 midfielders push forward. Kill the game and counter attacks that's a good role for Connor.

Selling Gallagher would be a horrible mistake. We shouldn't have sold Mount or sacked Tuchel. We need to have good English players coming through the youth team who aren't just seen as an easy way to get money for FFP. That's not the purpose of the youth teams. Players who know the value of the badge and not just their contract who are as good as who you could buy. He's also the highest performing player in a Chelsea Midfield shirt all season.
