  1. Casillas; Arbeloa, Pique, Ramos, Alba; Busquets, Alonso; Xavi; Silva, Iniesta, Cesc.
So memorable with those 6 midfielders on the starting XI.

  2. Now that's a real golden generation: 1 World Cup title and 2 Eurocup titles. Not like the England, Belgium, or other so called golden generations with 0 trophies😆.

  3. La finale Senza storia nettamente più forte la Spagna, questa Spagna con Carles puyol è stata una delle nazioni più Forte di tutti i tempi aveva un gioco già studiato matematico con xavi e Iniesta il cervello della squadra

  4. normally, you have to be very careful with one or two players from the opposite team that are outstanding, different ones with an ace up their sleeves, with which they can solve a game in a matter of two touches.. spain had xavi, iniesta, silva, fábregas, busquets, and alonso all in one team, all starting against you
many said, what? no strikers? del bosque must be out of his mind!
well, when you have so much quality and composure, not quite

  5. People who doubt this Spanish Team Era is the toughest be like:

2008: yeah, Spain won that by luck.
2010: they dominated the entire comp, but still,. 1-0 in the finals,. Nah.
2012: *rips Italy apart in the Finals… damn, somebody tell them boys in Red this aint the Sunday league. 😅

  6. Torres had a very unlucky career in many respects. He suffered from several bad injuries at a young age, he won nothing at Liverpool during the peak of his career despite coming close several times, he never really finding his form at Chelsea after his previous injuries destroyed his pace and his confidence and lost the 2016 UCL final on penalties

Given all of that, it's nice that at least he was able to shine for the Spanish national team. He was an unreal striker from 2007-2010 and even though he was already past his best in the 2012 Euro's, that 3rd goal showed glimpses of the player he was
