Walker is still best rb in world by a mile trent is quality thou but should a midfielder for me
Yes, Trent is not the best defender, but he is among the best full backs defending wise. Problem is that every time he doesn't win a duel it is always 'ha, there it is, he can't defend', but if you look at other full backs, the majority make more mistakes then him but it is very rare that someone ever mentions it. Since you mentioned Walker, yes he is very strong, fast, and great in one on ones, but his positioning has never been great, not even in his peak, and the amount of times that City and England have coincided headers because of his bad positioning is quite extensive. Van Bissaka too, yes great in one on ones, but his positioning is terrible and players constantly run in behind him, not to mention that most of his tackles are because of initial misjudgements.
He may have going forward but his 1st priority is as a defender and he is 💩 Kyle is a country mile ahead of him 👍

Kyle walker is a better right back but trent is a much better player. Trent is one of the most creative players world wide.

Your problem is, you English always look for negatives first, by default. He'd be revered in proper footballing countries with a positive mentality. Look at the recent Arsenal- Liverpool match. Straight away you went for negative stories about Arsenal, rather than positive stories about the actual winner of the match. It's no surprise you havn't won anything since 1966.

Having Trent and KDB in the same team would be beyond unfair on the rest of workd football, especially if he got put in that Man City team with the other billion poinds worth of players.
You talk about putting stats into context and being misleading. Well you have to do the same with the eye test. The fact of the matter is that Trent getting beat looks way worse than it is, prime example game at Etihad where everyone expected Doku to have a field day and Trent walks away with man of the match.
Walker is better defensively and Trent is better going forward, stupid comparison really, play Trent against weaker sides and Walker against Mbappe etc

i know who i would rather have marking mbappe and that would be walker every day of the week. Taa is a decent player but hasn't got the concentration of a top class defender
