Newcastle did not deserve anything from the game; Chelsea defender made a mistake and they had one shot on goal and they scored; they just wanted to defend the whole 90 minutes.
A tough few weeks for Kieran Trippier but he deserves full support from the Newcastle fans for what he has given the club so far 🙏

I am no fan of Newcastle but Trippier is the best English fullback since Stuart Pearce. These patches happen in all great careers. Difficulties get forgotten in the end when a player has his quality.

Newcastle were horrible, their only shot on target was a mistake from a Chelsea defender and they scored, people acting like Newcastle deserve to win the game, yes Chelsea wasn't brilliant either, too many passes between the back line, too many touches before releasing a pass, that's horrible to watch, Pochetino with some weird line up as well, Colwill is a center back, why play him as a number three ? And why didn't Gusto start in his normal position? Chelsea didn't threaten from the right side until Gusto switched. Terrible game, good luck to Chelsea in the semis.
