The main problem is that the overall team performance has experienced a severe decrease in quality. A 20 year old is 99/100 not going to be able to carry a team at such an age, the problem is mostly Xavi and it’s up to the coach to get the best out of each player. Xavi’s inexperience really is showing atm

I think last year with kounde RB he had more freedom to attack now he needs to defend because cancelo is really bad defensively
if worked as well defensively and worked on his passing a bit more or knowledge of when to make a run he would be way better but hes still young and has time to work on that for now cancelo is taking his place because cancelo is already matured and knows what to do so in the future years when balde grows he will be world class

He also has to evolve he has grown too used to just sprint down the wing and he does it every time but doesn't think of the purpose of the action so his actions end in nothing. Has to evolve his decision making he was sensational last season but he can't always use the same trick.

He needs to work on his deliveries and his weak foot and he’s one of the most dangerous left backs.

I agree that Balde needs to improve on his final pass but I feel like his runs and dribbling being subpar this season have more to do with the fact that him and Felix don't gel well together. Felix's positioning is terrible and progressively getting worse. He's extremely stagnant at times, they both have a hard time playing together cause they don't give each other enough space to do the things they're best at. Our last game was a perfect example of Baldes quality when playing with a player that'll give him enough space to maneuver the way he has to. It wasn't his best showing but he hadn't made those runs in a while. He still has a lot to improve on but he's only 20 and IS one of our best prospects. We'd be the dumbest club to let a player like him go.
We never see players keep shining as much when they start doing something they're decent at for something they are great are ( example : mbappe trying to play like a playmaker at the moment)
