Why would he not be back at work? The millions of other UK citizens who are the victims of burglary return to the work the next day. At least the police will be all over this pulling out all resources to solve this crime, purely because he is famous, whilst ordinary citizens rarely see them when reporting a buglary and get fobbed off with a crime number.
Most normal people who get their homes broken into don't get a look in.
