Dive. He dived five seconds after the keeper brushed his foot – he took another 25 steps ran 40 metres and then dived. Got himself a penalty. The referee and VAR team awarded it.

EPL refs & VAR SOLD OUT from last season to now don't know were these refs are from but VAR from qatar the cards players get we could see it's a pen for some reason they can't they have made a mud out of EPL costing teams big time as long as they get what they what after the qatar world cup the refs & VAR never the same

Awarding a penalty for Jota’s dive was a shocking decision from the ref. One of the worst dives I’ve ever seen.

Listening to Neville having a hissy-fit was as enjoyable as the football. It's not Liverpools fault United lost to Forest.
People claiming Jota dived, no chance, he literally had an open net. The keepers left elbow clipped his right leg and his momentum carried him forward until he lost balance. His facial expression was 100% acting but can't blame players when the ref doesn't give obvious pens when the player doesn't make a fuss about it.
Jones was incredible yet again. Finally starting to step up.
A deserved win for liverpool but wtf come on no no no way was that a penalty!!! 😮 we should be able to hear var discuss these things as they happen because i cant seriously believe anyone with any actual knowledge of the sport could come to that conclusion without either being pi**ed or corrupt 🤔

The worst penalty decision I have ever seen at the end. Not even VAR ruled it out? The reality is, that football is becoming a fragmented, non – contact and boring game because of how easy these players go down. Shocking decision.
As a Newcastle fan, I wasn’t too disappointed. Thought we played well against a quality Liverpool side at Anfield who could call on a strong bench. The penalty was annoying because we could have nicked a point at 3-2. Razor said it right on Talksport, just cause there’s contact doesn’t mean it’s a foul.
As a Liverpool fan, it disappointed me to see the diving from Diaz and especially Jota. Going down in the box after clear contact is one thing but I can’t condone the delayed falling after very little to no contact. Why doesn’t Jota just score that?
Doesn’t matter how long they(Jota & Diaz) take to fall- there was clear contact in both cases and that equals a Pen! Spot on decisions!
