FT: Tottenham 3-1 Bournemouth
Spurs faced AFC Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium after a recent defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion bounced back with a 3-1 win.
Tottenham went 1-0 early doors as the Senegal star Pape Matar Sarr scored a long range strike against Neto, thanks to good work from Rodrigo Bentancur and Giovani Lo Celso.
Sadly Sarr moments later went off injured and will now likely miss AFCON ( Africa Cup of Nations)
Andoni Iraola’s side went on to dominate the first half even after an injury to Dominic Solanke, which was similar to Tottenham’s previous home game against Everton.
The Cherries continued to put Spurs under pressure, but Richarlison had a glorious chance to score when Heung-Min Son (손흥민) threaded him through early in the second half.
Guglielmo Vicario again made some key saves to keep Tottenham in the game.
But Spurs had their lead doubled after Lo Celso played through Son to tuck his 12th Premier League (PL) goal away of the season.
Tottenham wrapped the game up at 3-0 with Brennan Johnson delivering a great cross to Richarlison to score his 6th PL goal.
Spurs fan Alex Scott pulled one back to make it 3-1 late on for Bournemouth.
Alejo Veliz went off injured as well
Big Ange Postecoglou’s squad includes Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil, Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-Min (손흥민) Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr, Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington, Ashley Phillips, Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso, Alejo Veliz and Rodrigo Bentancur
Spurs’ injury list now contains the likes of Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Ryan Sessegnon and Cristian Romero.
This was Heung Min Son’s last game before the Asian Cup with South Korea/ Korea Republic and Sarr and Bissouma are heading to AFCON with Senegal and Mali respectively.
Meanwhile, at the same time Arsenal lost 2-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage after Bukayo Saka put the Gunners 1-0 up but Fulham bounced back with goals from Raul Jimenez and Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

This hospital emergency FC is over performing believe it or not. Had the 1st eleven been fit all season, we'd be miles ahead of these jokers. Spurs are truly cursed with bad luck. Anyways there's not much to whine about else than that. A great interval result tbh. Also this club is behaving like a big ambitious club in the market which is also great news. We move forward, COYS and a happy new year Sonny.
COYS……..🎉
Firstly happy new year mate. Secondly we were lucky in the first half and richarlison is a headless spectre I know he is performing well at the moment but remember Gil to replace son during asian cup. Richy form will be depended on how synchronized he will be with Gil and kulu
