We won’t be bringing you a full size post-match podcast this week because, frankly, after the cardiac arrest suffered by Tom Lockyer, football isn’t important.
But we did want to record this short message in support of our captain and our hope that he returns to health. We love him to bits and just want him to be safe and well.
But we also want to say thank you to everyone connected with AFC Bournemouth. Your reaction and support on the day and since has been remarkable and we’ll never forget it.
Also, please do support each other and speak up if the events of Saturday have effected you.
Take care and we’ll be back when football returns

Well said Kevin π
It was such promising game, but im glad it was stopped as his health comes first.
We have the togetherness to get through this, and I know our captain will pull through
Too many sportsmen are collapsing since a certain injection was rolled out. I hope a proper inquest occurs and relevant parties compensated. Get well soon Tom, Bournemouth fans showed real class on the weekend. Will always remember how Bournemouth reacted and clapped in support of our captain.
Wishing Tom a speedy recovery.

Get well soon Tom. Palace fan.
The reaction from Solanke frantically waving on the medics and the way Tom was lying straight away you knew it was very serious. Based on what happened at Wembley and the eerie commentary silence i honestly feared the worst, so was hugely relieved to hear later he was responsive. Like to think the singing of his name somehow made a difference. Got everything crossed for Tom's recovery. Reminds me of an incident at my son's football club with a kid's grandad. That's something that stays with you.
Everyone involved with Bristol Rovers wishes Tom a speedy recovery, he will always be a GAS Legend
As a Bournemouth fan. Get well soon Tom you are a good solid and talented defender β€
