'Arsenal needs to buy a left back' is just laziness, fine Timber is injured but there's Tomi who's back shortly and Kiwior who's fit and can play there. I know some are gonna say why is he playing Zinchenko there? Fact is Zinchencho is a midfielder tactically, LB is just a starting position and Gabriel plays there most of the time in an effective back 3. When Timber or Kiwior play there, their roles are different, even Tomi to some extend because his role at LB has been evolving. When everyone is fit the LB selection will be purely tactical depending with opposition. No real been for a new LB.
The Newcastle comment on buying 10 players, they Need these number to back up the first team selections week in week out, because their squad isn’t strong enough or good enough when they’re hit with bans, suspensions and most of all injuries. ⚽️⚽️
