Sam Adekugbe of the Canada Mens National Soccer Team goal against the United States Mens National Soccer team in the 2022 Fifa World Cup Qualifiers. Canada beat the US 2-0. The game was played at Tim Horton Field in Hamilton Ontario.
Props to Canada, you guys remind me of our USA teams in the 2000s in qualifying, hunker down a shell up and score on the few chances you get with some goal scorers who are clinical – it's a tried and true recipe, I think ya'll will make it out of the group stage with a fortunate enough draw!
That was a very satisfying goal – very cheeky which is a perfect way to put the Americans away. Reminds me of the Jays taking down the Phillies after beating the Braves the year before. VERY SATISFYING INDEED.
