Im an Arsenal fan and find it baffling that chelsea fans want results or glory right now with this team and this manager, after the major upheaval of that squad when Todd Boehly arrived.
Your new owners spent a fortune on "promising talent" players for the future who need to learn to gel together and get some cohesion under the guidendce of one manager….you have already binned Tuchel, potter and Lampard in this time, so how is binning off another going to help at all?
All these new players were needing to come in and adapt to the league, new country, new squad (for most of them)..which for most was a major step up in class in terms of the new league.
It all takes time and Chelsea thought they could bypass all that slow build up n just pay big on players to make it work right now instead.
Chelsea fans may have to accept this could be a slow 2,3,4 season rebuild process now where some of them players may not pay off in terms of the gamble on their current potential and become future stars.
There is talk from fans and the manager talking about new signings….do Chelsea never learn? Adding more players who again need to adapt to the league, new country and to a new squad could make things worse and make any future progress take longer.
Chelsea seem to be stuck on a merry go round they cant get off and need to realise spending money just because you can isnt always a solution.
