Against Brazil, there were 5 or 6 players in the box when we conceded all three goals. The problem was that, the Stars were many at defense but they let their guard down. The main work of defense, whether a players fall back to defend or is primary defender, is to prevent attackers from reaching the ball. Some of the stars were behind the attackers they were marking. They did not mark the opponents and prevent them from reaching the ball. So lethal teams like Brazil and Japan will overwhelm you even though you are playing defensive. Look at Tunisia, another country that used defensive play to out Nigeria from AFCON, Brazil spanked them 4-1. So Stars when you meet teams like Brazil, South Korea, Uruguay or Portugal, do never lose guard. Do not play normal defense. Be very alert throughout and keep their attackers from reaching the ball. Against defensive Nicaragua, Stars were exposed about the age old inability to take chances. Try to be very lethal too in front of goal if you meet defensive teams too. The build up from midfield to attack is very porous. Good luck.
The entire Ghanaian body needs attitudinal change and not Otoo Ado must go.Like ,I watched the Nicaragua and Ghana Black Star current match,the players didn't play as a team but a an individua.There was lack of coordination and played the game as divided,but not in unity.
