Our squad was big enough and good enough at the start of the season, apart from one striker, either on loan or someone young I think we stay as we are. If we go out and sign 3 or 4 players and then our players come back injured then we have too many. No point getting into that position and lowering our FFP capabilities for the summer. Its the time to relax not panic
Serhou Guirassy would be a better option and cheaper. Bit more experience but Newcastle will have to act quickly in January

Newcastle should put a clause in his contract if he goes off injured gets £50 a week statuary sick pay, to many players going off for months with stupid injuries
I like Jonathan David,especially if he can play winger position as well.than, go ahead. My concern is 2 positions, which since takeover is been forgotten. No6 defensive midfielder and right winger (miggy alternative)and last position needs to be strengthen to take team champions league level,a right centerback. Someone like mathijs de ligt (24)and near future our defence can be livramento sven botman (mathijs de ligt)and lewis hall.next 7-8 years top class Newcastle united defence.
I think he looks a good fit for what we badly need,,l would be happy with the signing.
