  1. I wonder if this Solanke talk is to force Brentford's hand into a lower fee for Toney. I don't see Solanke starting after summer if we sign a serious striker, he's good for say 10/15 goals a season in our set up but he does what Eddie does if he starts, he removes the ability that Jesus has to bring the wingers in

  2. I too wanted Xakha to leave Arsenal at one point. But I ended up with nothing but respect and admiration for the guy.
Arteta showed us also that it was the managers not playing him in the right position, not Xakha's if he hadnt be more influential in games. Remember how good he was played to his strength. "We got…Granit Xakha….we got Granit Xakha… we got…"

  3. Chelsea are apparently willing to part ways with Connor Gallagher for £40 million, is it just me that thinks he would be a fantastic squad bolstering signing due to the fact that he’s so versatile and the fact that he’s quality too. I just don’t see where you’d get another player like that for that price. Would like to hear what Tom has to say.

  4. Ironic that much of the discussion is will we/won’t we at Anfield at the weekend and how great Xakha was. At least he’s not there to light up the home fans on this occasion. The whole of Anfield were minutes away from starting to boo Liverpool till he lit the touchpaper. Clueless.

  5. Ah, sorry Tom! My daughter is just recovering from food poisoning with a cold. Her hubby was out of town on business and she had, work, the 3 kids and the 1 year old dog to take care of. 🤮🤧😵‍💫🤒

  6. Actually Tom….I could see you being a great ASMR-tist with your voice. It's relaxing and soothing the vast majority of the time. Ear to ear whispering/rambling might be a thing you crush.

  7. Always appreciated Xhaka. I never faulted him for that response to those fans that were slagging him off. Arteta sure appears to earn the respect of the players. He demands 100% from players but he has integrity and he is 100% Arsenal F.C. I’m sure every player knows that he wants to make them the best they can be.

  8. Man City always created so much without Haaland, We don’t create enough and rely a lot on Jesus in the build play for attacking fluidity, I don’t think Victor Osimhen fits that role , I would prefer Boniface

  9. I think Solanke would be a great signing for Arsenal. I think he has a bit of everything. I think he's he's on level with Toney who will cost twice as much and also younger.Yes maybe not a world class signing but more realistic and I think he'd score 15+ a season. I think people will disrespect the idea though because he plays for Bournemouth.
