      NUNO MENDES! Sporting CP wonderkid Nuno Mendes is being linked with Manchester United.
      The Daily Star says Man United are chasing Mendes, after a recommendation from Nani. Mendes, a quick, attacking left back with excellent dribbling, is regarded as one of the pearls of Portugal. Stay tuned! – WOF

      I'm a Sporting fan so I know Nuno Mendes really well. Nuno Mendes probably will be one of the best left backs in the future. He looks like a mix of Benjamin Mendy and Ferland Mendy. He has the explosive side of Benjamin and the technical quality of Ferland. He is defensively solid but I never saw him in a higher level of competition (he just plays in our second team). I think Nuno Mendes will gain the spot on the first team when Marcos Acuna is sold so you will listen his name frequently in the next season.

      If is a Sporting player will have a huge impact in Manchester ! C.Ronaldo, Quaresma, Moutinho, Figo, Nani, Bruno Fernandes, William Carvalho, Paulo Futre, Adrien SIlva came all from Sporting school and they had to become the best for the INTERNATIONAL press start to talk about them (The nacional press is against Sporting and Porto). About Nuno Mendes, is fast, have bothe long and short pass, technic, is concistent defensivly but above all during the game he take the best decisions. He is the best young left back in Portugal for miles. 184cm 70kg with 17yrs. He is a concentrated during the game, but my opinion, he should do 1 or 2 more seasons to gain some more experience. Anyway since I like Manchester United I will give a name from 2 players that are from Sporting that in one year we will all be talking about for millions! DANIEL BRAGANÇA and MATHEUS NUNES. Antecipation is the secret of bussiness and Manchester should start to follow them closelly. Greatings from Portugal ! And go go Manchester United!

      just played his first game for sporting first team today, at age 17. started, playing all 90 min and was fabulous. the future is looks bright for him

      Dribbles too much with he's head down .. if he can balance that explosiveness with he's composure he can truly compete and make a name for himself as a top player….would be good too get him challenging with tierney at left back

      Portugal need a left back because they don't have that much of options in that position except of Guerrero and Rui Now nuno mendes can add that spark in their left back options

      the amount of ground he covers in a few seconds without looking like he is in a full sprint, is amazing. His stride is very long.
