For that to be a red card Is just very harsh and unfair towards the untied players and fans watching yellow and red that is just ridiculous refereeing and I hope he losses his job bevause the referee needs to be sacked I don't see much in it myself and for it to be a two yellows and red I'm sorry that is selfishness and disrespectful I don't care if your a professional referee or not but rules and fair play in any sports needs to be in a enjoyable and fair for all premier league teams. Red card and two yellows for what nothing and I'm not a Liverpool fan but I imagine manchester united will be upset and very annoyed and rightly so they should be hopefully they can challenged it or they fired the referee for good and fine him

Devil's advocate but…
I've seen nobody who is unhappy with it being a yellow for the first actions. Which he then immediately repeats on production of the card. People r constantly telling me how yellows should be dished out equally regardless of whethers its the first or the second. Therefore the second instance of aggressive dissent should be a yellow too and he has indeed committed another yellow card offence after the production of the first yellow card.

I think its very harsh and I would always give the first but never second yellow. But equally, I don't think you really have much of a leg to stand on when your carded for dissent. Its a stupid yellow to pick up in the first place and he clearly doesn't learn from the first card so even though its harsh i've no sympathy for him.

No issues with ref's being brutal about dissent and players failing to regulate their aggressive emotions appropriately. Players get away with a lot and they always will be able to, but there has to be a risk of meaningful consequences to prevent it getting out of hand.

it's insane that they try to kill every ounce of passion, how come you are not allowed to be mad?? i saw a referee saying that the reason he got 2 yellows into a red is because it sets a bad presedence for kids watching… like are you fucking kidding me, players are elbowing eachothers and making nasty tackles, they scream in other players faces after doing tackles on them and sometimes fight and shove eachothers so how are all these not instant red then?? it's just a bs excuse and believe it or not even kids are smart enough to understand that it was simply a heated moment and that everyone can make mistakes, and they also understand that it is far better to be angry and yell once or twice while kicking the floor than it is to be violent, if anything these types of deals are good learning oppertunities, i swear kids today is going to be so messed up and not know how to react or handle situations because they are being wrapped in bubble wrap..
