Lockyer collapsed to the turf in the second half of Luton’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday in a worrying incident. The match was promptly halted to allow for urgent medical attention, while the players left the pitch. The captain was subsequently taken off on a stretcher and applauded by both sets of supporters.

29 and 9 for Bournemouth were so quick to respond to Tom. good on them, because so many other players were caught up in themselves, those two were immediately flagging for help with urgency when he went down and was unresponsive. wishing Tom all the best! hoping he's stable and able to spend time with his family this season. I know it's also not his first time, so I think he owes it to his family to have a serious think about his career. I'm hoping that there could at least be some sort of role for him at Luton for the short while to hold him over and still give him involvement during their Premier League era while he figures out what it is he wants to do long-term
