Kobbie Mainoo isn't the Frenkie de Jong EtH wanted, but he's the one he's needed. The boy should be the first name on the team sheet.

Yes Mainoo is going to anchor our midfield for many years. Having young players to build around feels good. Mainoo, Garnacho, Hojlund are three excellent building blocks.
Mainoo reminds me of Riquelme, not in his skill set but in how he calms the match down with his confidence on the ball regardless of being surrounded by 3 to 4 opposition players.
Our attack is in desperate need of improving 0 goals in the last 3 games

Kobbie Mainoo has the potential to be our DM for the next decade and more. We have our long term replacement for Casemiro
We finally saw Amrabat and Mainoo together. Were Bruno available, would McTominay have been out of the team? It feels like a while since he has scored now, you can only ride that wave for so long. Eriksen being back in training yesterday is a strong indicator that Scott may be out of the starting XI soon. We simply can’t afford a passenger anywhere, never mind the middle of the park.
Some players with bad attitudes need to go. We need Mainoo to learn & look up to good professionals.
Need to check that Amrabat’s ID – are we sure it’s the same chap that played outrageously good for Morocco? This Amrabat looks slow, lacks technique and his game intelligence looks so poor – he’s fouling and misplacing passes like his life depends on it. Very poor showing so far especially when expectations were fairly high.
Possibly if united weren’t disfunctioning, Mainoo would still be on the bench and never realised.
What About Varane ? Score would have been 5-0 if he was unavailable
Amrabat is writing off so quickly by A LOT of people… He is just 27 and arrived injured in a sh*t team with a lost manager. Morover he has to adapt in a new league.
