Hudson odoi and origi are both a handful I love Steve cooper but we gotta utilise our strike force rather than just sitting back and soaking up pressure all the game because it’s not good for our fans hearts we need more players like Yates, who gives us his all every game I think it could be 2-1 either way

Defensively, Forest have to replace Niakatte with Boly.
Niakatte struggled last week as a left footed player on the right side of the defence, and he is prone to errors. Also, Boly is strong in the air compared to the other options. Yates has to play from the off, along with Hudson Odie and Elanga, on the flanks. Not fussed on either Wood or the ex Liverpool guy up upfront.
Tough game for sure.

I like the 4-3-2-1. What are the chances of that? Close to zero. If we opt for a 3 in midfield I’d put Yates in there. Can’t believe I’m saying that but his fire is something we’ve lacked recently. It’s an infectious quality that would rub off on the other players. We know MGW plays better when he’s in that mood. COYR.

I would like us to play either 4-3-1-2 (Tofolo, Niakate , Murillo, Aina – Dom, mangala, Sangare – MGW – Elanga, CHO) or an unlikely 3-5-2 (Felipe/Boly, Murillo, Niakate – Aina, Dominguez, mangala, Sangare, Toffolo – MGW, Elanga. With the 1st formation front 2 play in channels between full back and centre half effectively occupying 4 defenders, allowing MGW to play as a proper 10. We should then get overloads wide. With 5 in midfield we could isolate CL easier by pushing Harrison and O'Neil back. We need to be at least 10 yards further up the pitch and pressing higher. That's how we got our penalty Vs Brighton and all our better play happened through it. High density required. If players get tired, so be it, we have players on the bench for a reason!
Nice selections on both formations. MGW as striker is hardly ideal anything is better than Wood. Wood cannot play for the reds again I’d rather have Jeff Bezos as a striker ✅

We can't play wood if we do we are gonna struggle.. Definitely have CHO,Elanga and Origi up front..
With Awoniyi out injured, I don't see what serious option we have but to play Wood in his absence. Unless Origi is deemed to be better than Wood? But I've seen no sign to support that so far. Neither are good enough imo. UntiI the January transfer window, we just have to make the best of a difficult situation. 'Getting bored with the Wood discussion.

Sangare seems extremely doubtful. Not expecting to see him in the matchday squad.
3 wins out of 13 league games so far for Forest isn't good enough. Over the next handful of games we have some winnable ones. To show evidence of progression compared to last season, Cooper needs to get some wins in the bag this side of xmas. If we are going change manager during this season it should be done ahead of January's transfer window.

Jeez this one could be tight… Everton not in bad form. This really could be down to who wants it more.
Calvin-Lewin (when fit) is an allround striker – has aerial, has strikers touch, has a bit of pace…team has a decent spine (in both senses). Pickford is class. McNeil can deliver from set piece.. Meanwhile Forest have home advantage, and probably the players with greater potential..(if it can just be unlocked..). I dunno…elanga in a footrace vs Young, or Tarkowski for that matter, seems like the possible biggest mismatch. Maybe we are better to sit back and try to hit a slower defence on the counter? Cooper also knows Garner from seasons past, which might give us a slight edge in the middle if any weakness can be exposed.
But end of the day, we need to start showing up for 90+ mins. Unfortunately, since we havent shown that in recent times, I am going for Everton to win 0-1. I hope to be wrong.

IMO, doesn't matter who is dropped or who is bought in. Coopers management ability will be exposed again. Everton will not lose this one.
Look at the size of our squad and the versatility of the players we have. We should be running over teams like Everton and making it look easy but we just need to get that CLICK to happen and now is the time!!!!!!!! COYR lets have that passion like its 1977/78 again and feel the football in you!!!!!
