Was a fantastic evening, it was for my mum who had Motor Neurone Disease, Shes sadly passed away since then, but us a family couldnt believe that he turned up for our cause and played the second half and stayed with us afterwards to have a drink and chat, lovely man, such a kind heart! cant fault him.
No he didn't we turned him down coz he wanted to be like Rafa and control everything but FSG wanted somelike Rodger's who would work as part of a Committee on things like Youth Development and Recruitment on and off the field.
Him turning down LFC is the biggest myth of recent years. he even admitted this in his press conference today that he and LFC after talks felt the fit wasn't quite right.
