🚨 Chelsea’s players are perplexed by Thiago Silva not being made captain in the absence of Reece James and Ben Chilwell, with suggestions that the veteran defender has been disrespected a growing topic in the dressing room.

There is talk of ā€œdisrespectā€ being shown towards Silva, who is out of contract at the end of the season, and unhappiness around a situation that some players feel captures the side’s lack of direction. Chelsea, who are 12th, have shown a lack of nous and Pochettino accused his side of being soft after losing to Newcastle last month.

  1. All very well and good. The conference with Boehly mentioned was 15 months ago! People back then were warning about it. But they were ridiculed, called negative and ignored by larger channels talking about Potter and player issues at the time. While 1 Bn was given away by the clowns for their farming. The damage is done. Just about limitation now. Last chance saloon now before next transfer window. The fanbase has to make a unified stand and let them know this is not acceptable now in the coming days and weeks.

  2. Bro im all for the owner hate if it makes sense but when i hear nonsense i gotta put somethings in check…let me sum up todd b for ppl who cant see past their own ignorance…of all the clubs likely to go back to midtable status with 70% rule coming in its cfc and city thats one reason for 115 charges…we dont generate enough revenue to challenge the big clubs we will be outbid and embarrassed even trying for worlds best stars…so how do we find a way…ill use one example savio is owned by city football group he was 5m last yr at troyes hes now at 20m maybe 30m by season end if they contine winning…now is he good enough for city absolutely not imo but he can add to revenue pool…enter angelo gabriel why does this matter…when man u afc pool city psg rm barca ect are making 600-700m and we are making 400m a yr lets assume we are going for leao KK or oshimen we cant compete those days are over its back to reality…but with player sales we can go from 5'10 to 7'0 and look eye to eye with the big clubs or just buy 2nd rate stars and watch this fanbase melt down šŸ˜‚

  3. Regarding James, there’s no point talking about him and getting abused for it. I’m certain the board will sell him if a right offer comes. He’s on 250k and hardly plays the board do not care about cobham, that we know. So he’ll get sold if this injury shit continues. I won’t even be surprised if they entertain a sale next year during the summer window. It’s literally a waste of time trying to have discussions over James injury woes.

  4. Thing is RJ is irreplaceable cos @ his best he's top 3 RB gloabally . Ousmane dembele has had massive injury problems for years and is now back to his best …. SO if theres a chance for Reece i think we should stick by him !! He's only 24 to write him off is silly .

  5. I’m with you on Reece Miz. I got cooked myself for saying this last time he got injured, but it didn’t phase me because I knew I was right. I don’t want to be right and it’s a real shame, but he needs to go. This is not a sustainable situation for the good of the club.

  6. We need to stay with Reece and support him this is a tough moment for him and the club, if he had a choice he would choose to be fit, he's out captain and we need to do anything and everything possible to help him get past this dark period else he's be the next Wiltshere 😢

  7. Selling James would be the dumbest decision we ever made as a club. Its our fault we can't keep the player fit.Sell him to Madrid and in one season you see the difference. Our medical staff and approach to injuries has to improve. We have a world class player here who is struggling with injuries talking about selling him is really dumb in my opinion.

  8. Well my father is a retired Dr. he said the hamstring you can’t fix because its complicated fibres not like acl with graft, so basically all these tears have weakened his hamstring (scar tissue), so basically his hamstring is done. My acl I did and had surgery and never had problems played 5-aside for years no problems. For me his hamstring has too much damage these steroids are because no other alternative apart to go to a easier league where he doesn’t play at 100%, FB is a position you need to run up and down. Father said what to fix if nothing is torn? He did say you get these injuries when your muscles contract in motion and relax when rested but you have injuries when these muscles are in a position there not used to so his training may not be comprehensive to include all the movements, maybe the fitness team and if you look at all the injuries to all players, also the fitness team is a celebrity fitness team isn’t it?not sport

  9. Reece James shouldn’t come back until next season. Our seasons over plus he gets injured so often he might as well focus on recovery until August. However the problem is he wants to play in the euros.

  10. Respect to all the guys, but this narrative that the owners are just buying talent to flip them for a profit needs to stop because it’s just false. For every Kendry Paez we sign, there’s a Mudryk, a Madueke, a Jackson, an Enzo, a Caicedo, a Lavia, an Ugochukwu, Disasi, Wesley Fofana and the list goes on and on. None of those players were signed with making a profit on them in mind. The fees of Mudryk, Enzo, Caicedo and even Lavia near enough rule out any profit will be made on them. So then you look at Madueke & Jackson for example. If they were bought to flip on for profit, why buy Palmer to literally stunt Madueke’s development and if we buy a ā€œtopā€ striker to displace Jackson, how’s he going to play enough games to develop to a standard high enough to command more than the 30 million we initially invested? Same goes for Ugochukwu. He barely plays and has 100’s of millions worth of midfielders ahead of him. How is he going to garner enough game time to show a level high enough for someone to come in and buy him for more than we paid? We are not buying players for 1-10 million where it’s almost guaranteed we’d be able to make a profit from them. Flipping players on for a profit is not the model

  11. I don’t want to lose Reece, but maybe a change, warmer weather etc might do him good? Even if he blows up somewhere else, at least he’d be playing football as he wants to. I want to see him playing at the top of his game.
