It was said that Rudiger wanted £200K/W and Chelsea wouldn't do anything more than £140K/W.
ngl this contract situation is really scaring me. this defense is so cohesive and the best in the world at the moment, to lose Rudiger or Christensen right now would be devastating.
News saying Rudiger wants 290k pounds per week, which is 13m pounds a year. For a 3 year contract, its 36m pounds
Rudiger got at least 4 years as defender to play. He is 28 now if he sigh a 5 year deal its 33 years, silva is 36 so no problem. Just give them new contract.

We need to secure Christensen if nothing else. I understand rudi leaving due to his highs and lows at Chelsea. He’s never been fully back by the board or the fans. Christensen is the present and the future though and it would be much harder to replace him with a player of the same profile
