Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has apologised to midfielder Kalvin Phillips for not picking him in the Premier League this season – but admits he “struggles to see him” in his starting line-up.

Phillips has yet to start for the treble winners in the Premier League and Champions League this season, limiting his action to just 90 minutes of top-flight football.

  1. Phillips was an idiot for going there, he could have had his pick of clubs who didn't have players in the same position as him but chose one where probably the best player in the world in his position (Rodri) was playing every week.

  2. if this was man utd, "fans" would be crying on social media and asking for him to be sacked because he treated a player badly XDXDXDXDXDXDXD
anyone who thinks ten hag should leave, please go support city, you belong there

  3. Then why buy him in the first place???? Just City’s dirty tactics of stopping other teams from strengthening. More fool him for falling for their dirty tactics.

Can’t wait for them to be relegated to the National League because of their FFP infringements. 115 and counting, Manc scum

  4. More talent hoarding from the most corrupt club in England, they signed him because they could and it meant he couldn't sign for a rival club and actually make a difference on the pitch. Similar story with Grealish, who's gone from being a great player to basically becoming the football equivalent of Bez from Happy Mondays.

  5. i think its time for man city to get there pants pulled down. if Poor Everton can lose points. imagine what they would do to city. but money talks, city will buy there way out of course.
