They complete their schedule in Qatar with a match against Morocco on Thursday. But with the team already eliminated from the World Cup, it is Canada’s last game that continues to pique the interest.

Prior to the fixture, Canada coach John Herdman had said something that showed Croatia scant respect. The Europeans were not impressed.

Herdman said he didn’t shake hands with Zlako Dalić after the game because the opposing coach had run down the sideline to celebrate with his players.

He said they exchanged a handshake pre-game.

  1. The canadian coach is a disaster , he knows that his team is the weakest in the group and still he keep talking bad about others , Tomorrow im expecting another loss for canada , theres no comparison ,Morocco playing in the world cup for the sixth time, canada the 2nd time , Morocco has 4 points from a win and a draw and canada last with a big 00. Canada deserve a better coach !

  2. As a Canadian with Croatian heritage I started disliking this team when they started to kneel during the anthem less than 2 years ago !

  3. "He's celebratin', he's just beaten Canada. It was a big celebration for him.".. This guy is a complete buffoon and disgrace.
He did well in building the team, but Canada deserve better if they want to take that next step.
