@splitkostanjeuma no its sun yang, 2nd in this video. his 400m record is 3:40.27, 3rd best result in the world. Park's is 3:41.53, 6th best result of all time. It doesnt mean park has no chance of breaking the record, but sun yang has a better chance. π

and sun yang's best is 3:40.29 and he is the 3rd fastest swimmer of all time but doesn't have the 3rd fastest time(1st Biedermann 3:40.07, 2nd Thorpe 3:40.08 and Thorpe again at 3:40.17)
so yeah Sun Yang has great potential and will definitly be the main favourite for the 2012 Games.

He is much smaller than average swimmers..which means his ability is flawless. If he was taller, he could've done better;)
he can't swim under 3.44 without supersuit π

That was a really good swim by Park. Usually some swimmers need to go under 51 seconds on the first 100 to go 1:44.

Park, Tae-hwan already defined clearly what & how front crawl stroke(freestyle) should be.
