As an Arsenal fan as long as we get through this tough period for us – 1 or 2 points ahead or behind 1st then i'll be very happy.

As a Newcastle fan I’m always hoping villa drop points. But out of every other team to beat us to top 4 I would prefer it villa. And if they can stop Arsenal winning the league that would just be amazing. Long way to go though

Said it from the beginning of the season, its should be Liverpools season, Just because City are weaker this year, no Mahrez,Sterling, Gondo,Larpote, kdb misses at least .40 of the season, no offence to the likes of Foden and Grealish, however they need some of those names to function.

UTV!! We certainly are playing well, I think that is actually the best performance i have seen in a pure football sense from Villa in midfield. We have been in the doldrums since MON. MON had a good midfield, but once that midfield left (Milner, Barry, Downing, Petrov, Young) we just could not recover and failed from it. That was our demise without a doubt in my opinion. We will not win the league. Not without an exceptional away record. EG. going way to Forest, no disrespect to Forest, in fact forget it is Forest. A much lower positioned team that has lost 5 and won 1 in their last 6 games and won 1 in their last 11 and that win was against Villa. It is not a complaint, Villa do not need to win anything for me to support and love them. Born in 1970 i was 12 when Peter Withe shin padded the ball onto the post and in. I ran round the living room like a lunatic in my Villa kit and my dad was a blue nose.

I love Gabby's passion for Villa but we haven't got the strength in depth at all.
A few injuries to key players over Xmas and we will fall out of the top 4 easily. Our back up players aren't good enough. He like a lot of Villa fans are getting too carried away with the hype. Top 6 and a decent cup run would be a brilliant season. We NEED a couple more top quality acquisitions to really challenge top 4. We still lack some class in key areas, although playing very well
