      Belgium must be one of the most overrated, and overhyped football Nations of all time. Im sorry, but no team or country that possesses the likes of Lukaku and Batshuayi playing up front for them is winning anything.

      I honest think Belgium was the most embarrassing team ever at a world cup…pathetic bunch of looser. Just goes to show some individual talent cant do much without desire and teamwork!

      Really glad that I discovered that Simon Jordan was in charge of Crystal Palace. Martinez fancied himself as a world champ and his managerial style was left wanting, too many divas and not enough work effort. Lukaku showed why the money spent on him was a waste, when the chips came down he was left wanting. THe Golden generation? Money for nothing and their chicks for free.

      For the players they've had the last 5,6 years all maturing into 'best years' together, Belgium have been crap. Never even seen them play one great game! They will probably never have so many great players at the same time again so it's a disappointment definitely. Could have done much more, but as an English man we've seen this before. Great individuals don't equal a great team. Martinez has made them look mediocre and has to take some of the blame. They never looked together and they never looked like they were going to win anything…

      When lukaku was good he was good, but he's been getting worse for ages and when he's bad he is useless. How can you go from lethal to WC performances? He looks 2 stone overweight and 2 years past elite capability. When he misses those I think has he been bribed? He looks finished

      Belgium were ranked #1 team in the world by FIFA for 4 years and won nothing. Didn't even make a final if anyone wants to know what FIFA rankings mean.

      What a nonsense question. Yes, Belgium and England failed. What about France, Germany, Spain, Italy? All won the World Cup with their so called golden generation

      I'm not sure Martinez was the right man to bring the collective talent together, might be it was an impossible job. Can't deny there was a wealth of talent that could and perhaps should have succeeded.

      Don’t forget Marc Wilmots’ shoddy work pre 16 and all, I still can’t believe what’s happened to Eden hazard!! A worse fall from grace then coutinho or anyone in football ever. One bad season at Chelsea and his last was incredible how’s it gone this badly wrong in his so called prime years
